Login bonus reset randomly

Hasn't happened to me either,

I think someone mentioned that if you just log in to get the bonus you have to do a manual save on top of the auto save.

For some reason that doesn't seam to register.
 
I've been at 200% since last friday/saturday.
Log in daily, save manually, do a race or two. Never an issue.
The game does not autosave if you just start the game up for the bonus and quit.
 
Even if I hadn't saved manually last night when it was 200%, shouldn't go back by only one stage? Does it restart from scratch if you miss a single day?
 
I had issues every day over xmas with this (like a lot of people) but it seems to have sorted itself out for me now.

See, in that case it's indeed a glitch. I raced and saved when it was stage 4 bonus, then logged in the next day to get the stage 5. 24 hours later I'm at stage 1. So, within two days it went back to stage 1.

This happened to my brother. We were both four days in, back when the login bonus was added. When we both signed in, my brother was reset back to day one and I was back on day three. Since then we've been doing manual saves and it's worked perfectly fine since.
 
I have had no issues at all. I do always manually save before I quit the game. I also make a backup on USB every couple of days just in case something happens to the save file or the HD.
 
You have to save manually after getting message about bonus increase.
This simple rule will fix this problem 100%. Game doesn't save automatically after getting bonus increase. So, save manually or do something in game making it save automatically.

If you will miss one day then bonus will decrease by 1 step for each missed day.
 
Manually saving did NOT work for me and at least one other person above.

They should just do away with the stupid bonus as they couldn't get it right in GT5. I had the same issues.

If you want to reward players give those that run a lower pp car a bit more money.

Sorry to say this, but it's BS. You simply didn't save in the right time, or restored old save, or because manipulating Time or Time Zone in a wrong way. I NEVER encountered this problem. Why? Because i manually save upon every exit from the game. I'm sure, if i would sit near you, i would point on thing you do wrong. Analyze your actions and you will find the cause of this problem.

The only problem why it happens is lack of automatic save in GT6 after bonus elevating. All bonus losts are around this. No other evidence were presented. Only "Ahhhh.. i've lost the bonus" screams of careless players.

Log on bonuses worked properly in GT5 and work properly in GT6. Saving manually after getting the log on bonus screen works. What are YOU doing wrong?

I guess all the recent topics about many people having the issues are all BS? I start my PS3, log-in to PSN. I start GT6 and get the bonus info. I press the start button and select save game. I exit GT6. What am I doing wrong? I always get on about the same time every night between 3 AM and 5AM EST.

Log on bonuses worked properly in GT5 and work properly in GT6. Saving manually after getting the log on bonus screen works. What are YOU doing wrong?

How the heck is this our fault? It is another simple feature that PD fails to implement properly.

And why should we have to save manually to begin with? It's already a huge PIA to power up 400 watts worth of devices just to log in for this silly little improperly implemented biased "feature".

TBH I'm so frustrated with the game right now I'm not even going to bother with it for a while. I'm just hoping that the bug guy from the official forums sees all these threads and submits another bug report to PD. AFAIK that is the only way PD hears about bugs.
 
Hasn't happen to me , I even acelerate login bonus for 2 days by changing my timezone to other timezone:D
Now, only problem I got is that login bonus screen comes up every day ,even that I had 200% since last week :D
Glitch or is it supposed to tell you every day you login that you have 200% bonus?

You realise the login bonus has nothing to do with your save? If something goes wrong your save file wont restore log in bonus.

lol get of your high horse. I have never manipulated any time zones but the login bonus has reset itself a number of times doing nothing than playing the game normally on one console and logging in daily. Secondly lol @ your save file having to do with log in bonus.

I play gt6 on 2 consoles. I can be on 200% on one console, save the game to USB, go to another playsation 3 use the same save file and same PSN ofcourse and the login bonus is back to the first stage. It works independently to the save file.

You have to log in each day for each console. And if something messes up through no fault of your own your save wont save you.

If they had implemented this incorrectly it wouldn't be working correctly for ANYBODY would it?

You and some other people have an issue with this, the rest of us are not having this issue at all. The CLEAR implication is therefore it is most likely to be user error.
 
Mine has worked fine. I have found out that mine will reset all the way to day 1 if I log in game, go to seasonals, then back to main menu. I've found out the safest way is to make sure I'm logged in before I boot the game.

So how is that working fine? You have more than a reasonable case to say its broken.

What?

Of course it does. The save file stores the last login, or at least I would assume that it does but that was not my point. I always manually save and I make frequent backups to insure I do not loose my garage. I am not worried about the bonus but in doing it the way I do I have no issues with loosing my login bonus
