Login bonus reset randomly

The fact that this doesn't happen to everyone means it's odd. I had this happen perhaps once in GT5 but it was actually me not remembering to save since my paint chips were over the limit and auto save doesn't kick in when that happens. The bonus is dependent on a time stamp from the servers and only way I can see that screwing up is if your console clock is not set to auto update and the clock does it's usual screw up of going off time after a few hours. PS3 clock is jacked up no doubts about that. Another thing might be an issue with the time stamping on your save itself since the server only checks for consecutive log-in time stamps and nothing else before it lets you know you have a bonus so I doubt the problem is the server and more on your system since the data resides on your system itself and not in a cloud. I manually save every time I log in if I'm not going to play at that time and I have not lost a single bonus ever.

I say go to your system settings and check to ensure your system clock is set to update via the internet(this will keep the PS3 time synced) and clear out your cache in the game after and see if you get the problem. It's not a fix since I do not have the issue but the system clock might be the cause of the incorrect time stamping.

Edit* Loaded up GT6 a few minutes ago I'm already at max bonus of 200%, the game now automatically saves right after you click ok. Seems like 1.03 added this function because I know it wasn't present before as I missed a bonus over the weekend and it was because I forgot to manually save or force auto save buy changing oil or buying a car or something.

Just a related question... How do you clear cache in the game, and what are the pro's and con's of doing so...???
