This is not new, GT7 overrides your base settings always so the best sequence for me is launch GT7 first.
After the game is running start the base and after that I switch profiles on the base to get my settings working.

Lets say if you have profile 1 for GT7, just swich to another profile and then come back to #1 and there you go.
Another method is to change some value on the selected profile but I prefer to not touch that.

Which settings are overridden? All of them or just the force?

Not sure if it only affects the strenght or the overall settings but I follow that procedure just in case.
I have my wheel set at 11nm and change the values of FFB according to the car I drive on the game settings.

Hi, i'm a beginner with wheel and pedals. is there a guide to understand how to set the FFB in game based on the car?

Plus, another thing that cause me a lot of confusion: as of today, what are the best settings for the g pro wheel + in game settings? i followed this: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/8358055253271-In-Game-Settings-for-Pro-Wheels but i've read that they are not good after the latest updates. what do you guys suggest? i've read ton of things and i'm so confused. thank you

i'm interested for the same thing. @LOGI_Rich ìare there new settings for the G Pro with the new patch of GT7?

Those settings are still good for me, the only change I make from what they recommend is I lower my in game force feedback max torque from recommended 10 down to 4 to prevent oscillation on straights in gr1 cars. This can be adjusted to optimize for different cars but I find just leaving at 4 gives me good realistic feeling ffb across all cars once you get used to it.

what about the ffb sensitivity? 1 seems too low, a lot of people suggest that it should be almost to max

Hi guys and welcome "to the club" ;)
Some time ago @NicoGmbh shared a spreadsheet where we filled our preferences (Im quoting his post with the link to that file).

After the last update I didnt tweak anything and I didnt notice anything wrong or different.

Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a G PRO.

I start my tests to find the best feeling.

Unfortunately, I would not have any experience prior to update 1.49.

I wanted to thank all the contributors who shared their settings, here or on the "Trueforce" thread :

@gt3guy @Marky264 @Talon16 @LOGI_Rich @Dan_Tes @hawkeyez @Pzynen @frameworkrock @Rombbb @Bass Addict @notarjy @GRT_Joka @Nigrick @Sturdy @Oshawa-Joe

Knowing that Logi_Rich is more active on this thread, I publish here a summary table of thirty shared settings (only for GT7).

The Google Sheet spreadsheet is open for editing.

If you wish, you should be able to complete or modify it.

Pick a car in game closest to one your very familiar with IRL. Adjust settings in game until it feels as close to the real car as you think it can get. Leave it alone. Drive everything in game with those settings. Every car will feel different. Every tire grade, on every car will feel different. Every aero, suspension mod, with every tire grade, on every car, will feel different. As it should be.

I complete the answer.

Even if I’m not very sure about that, I follow the same ignition procedure as @Childe Roland : Console, then GT7, then G Pro steering wheel with platform selection.

Then, I made a mix from the proposals recommended by Logitech and the excellent proposals of @Oshawa-Joe .
His advice to modulate the strength of feedback according to the type of car and tires is excellent.
I recently tested two GR.3 (911 RSR and 296 GT3), we feel the nuances of FFB between these two models belonging to the same group.

I left GT7 out for almost 9 months, and these tips are still relevant even though the updates and SPEC 3 are deployed.
It was a valuable time saver to get the best out of my equipment.
