Nothing to worry about. If you read the thread on the Logi Pro Wheel subreddit that it also links to, you can see that he says it only does it with a specific car on a specific track AND that turning TF Audio down reduces it: the wheel only does what the game tells it to :-)

Yeah i've read all the topic and your reply too. but i don't understand if it's a sound emitted from the wheel base or if it's a resonance vibration of the playseat like you wrote

plus, i would like to have a clarification about the ffb sensitivity in gt7: why do you suggest to set it to 1? what is the exact purpose of this setting? same thing for the damper setting on the base. thank you!

Starting from my sitting position, I placed the pedals directly in the axis of each leg.

Very pleasant and comfortable, especially for the brake.

I don’t feel the need for a footrest... too busy to rest 😂

If you remove the hub that the pedal cables plug into from the pedal tray you will have more slack to move the brake over to the left. I’ve secured the hub in an unnatural position out of the way.

@racinglife85 Well it's impossible to say exactly where the sound is coming from without being there with the customer. They haven't offered any further clarity on this and, of course, it's difficult for them to try and locate exactly where it's coming from whilst they're driving :-) It is kind of a moot point though - specific car/track combos can result in different sensations, so adjustment of wheel settings may be required to adapt for these.

FFB Sensitivity has been explained in the thread previously: think of it as increasing the slope of the force curve around the centre of the steering. Increasing that curve will make it more sensitive/responsive to outputs from the game, but with high torque settings and in high downforce cars, it's going to lead to major oscillations when driving down a straight.

The Dampener on the base tries to damp some of the responsiveness in the wheel: it can be used to alleviate oscillations or, because it makes the steering overall steering feel heavier/damped, it can be used to give you the feel of a bigger vehicle with big suspension and tyres.

Hey everyone. Logitech Pro Wheel and Pedals user here (obviously). I’ve been dealing with a strange issue for several months now, curious if anyone else has dealt with something similar.

Frequently while driving, my wheel base will completely shut off and disconnect from my PS5 Pro. When I turn the wheel base back on, the screen tells me to “Attach Wheel” even though the wheel is still attached. So I remove the wheel, put it back on, wheel restarts/resets and I can return to driving. It does not exclusively happen during moments of peak torque, and it happens no matter what game I’m playing. It’s an intermittent occurrence, but definitely happens at least once or twice every single time I sit down to drive. So running races online is not really possible because I can basically guarantee that it will cut out at some point during every race.

At this point I did the obvious thing and I reached out to Logitech support. They were easy to work with, reviewed my claim quickly and because I’m still under warranty, they sent over a brand new wheel base. Excellent! I’ve now had the new wheel base for about a month, but within the last week or so… I’m dealing with the exact same issue again. Power cuts out randomly while driving, wheel deactivates, etc.

So now I’m left trying to figure out what’s going on here. Seems to me that either:

• Logitech’s design is in some way fundamentally flawed
• I am doing something wrong with my setup that’s causing the issue

I’ve heard things about EMI (electromagnetic interference) or static electricity discharge, but at this point I’m legitimately not sure what’s going on. No other devices seem to be affected by this, just the wheelbase.

Curious if anyone else has dealt with an issue like this? Would love to hear people’s thoughts. Maybe we could even rope in @LOGI_Rich to get some answers

If a new base didn't cure the issue and the PS or game apps are reporting wheel disconnect, I would suspect the wheel connection to the base. Do you remove and re-seat the wheel often,outside of when the connection fails?

Hi everyone, new member here.

I’ve been running the Logitech G Pro Wheel and Pedals on a Playseat Trophy for about two months. During a session last night, I noticed the gas pedal felt 'off' and discovered the two bolts on the pedal face had backed out.

I also checked the mounting hardware where the pedal base attaches to the Trophy (6 bolts) and found those were also needing a turn. I’m surprised this is happening only two months in, especially since I was sure to tighten them down firmly during the initial build.

A couple of questions:

1. Is it normal for the tubular frame of the Trophy to vibrate enough to loosen bolts this quickly?
2. Should I apply Blue Threadlocker (medium strength) to the pedal face bolts and the mounting bolts?
3. Are there any concerns about using threadlocker on the G Pro pedals mounting points specifically?

Any insight on a long-term fix would be appreciated!"

I'm using the RS Wheel Hub from Logitech.

I try not to remove/replace the wheel very often. However, wheel disconnecting from the base is a really interesting idea that I had not at all considered.

It is probably not the answers you are waiting for but I would like to provide feedback on the use of my equipment and its reliability.

I think I have driven 20,000 kms on GT7 since my purchase.

The assembly is securely fixed on a SimLab assembly.

In these conditions, I think I use my equipment like in a real car, and quite strongly the brake when in excitement I attack the pedal after the sign too late.

I have encountered only one problem in 18 months and it was due to a failure to update.

No suspicious play, no loosening, no abnormal noise, no untimely ventilation, it’s really solid as a rock.

One of the things I had to review is the attachment of the shelf for my console, probably a too loose tightening from me combined with the vibrations of the TrueForce.

I am certain that LogiRich will help you.
