Well received my RS Shifter H-pattern.
I just unpacked to judge the quality of the set... no time to proceed with the assembly on my rig.
I was surprised by the high-quality of the set and more particularly of the clamp of the clamp. Its weight is substantial and it exudes robustness.
For those who, like me, have questions about mounting on a profile rig (I saw some examples, here and elsewhere), I saw an assembly with a 90-degree rotation of the clamp and a fixation on the front face of the shifter.
I will check if these distances correspond to a standard profile.
Having not thought of this solution, I ordered two supports from Track Racer (not yet shipped to date). They are compatible with 40 mm profiles and the holes are provided for the template of the two Logitech shifters.
I think this will allow me two mounting options: side by side or aligned one behind the other... and probably to play on two mounting heights.
Will remain to find a natural position in VR.
I am also waiting for a handrake RS, which suffered a brief stock shortage in Europe... it seems that the logistics will be a bit longer for this one.
