I just got one of the "three left" in stock on Amazon for $220 US!

If you've been waiting for a good price hurry before they're gone ;) I was shocked to see it sub $280 again this soon after the sale last month...

Plus you can call Logitech, tell them your old Logitech wheel's serial number and they'll give you a coupon code to buy a new G27 for $150.

Damn I wish I knew that before :-(

I wasn't trying to sell anything just letting people know ;)

You can knock this one dead if you want, my apologies :-(

Not to mention only premium members can post stuff for sale. :D

I'd like to add to this, as I have recently used this great service Logitech offers. I did it all through email. I had an out of production wheel which was "up in smoke", so I emailed them here:

http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com...ct/crid/595/lt_product_id/**/tabs/**/cl/us,en

and gave all the required information and a summary of the dead wheel. They replied within hours and gave me instructions to take a photo of the wheel's corpse along with the the support ticket number written on a card showing in the photo and email it to them. I did, and the next day they emailed the 50% off code.

It's good for 30 days, and I am getting another (like I need it) G27 to backup the others I have.

It's an excellent service policy and works just as I say. 👍

That is not so. Only premium members can sell privately on this forum, as in their own or their businesses own products.

Regular members are more than welcome to let us kmnow of deals like this as it is of no benefit to them.

I for one bought my G27 a year and a bit ago for something like 300AUD when they were (and still are) retailing for 500 here.

Sorry, man. I misread your post, I thought you were trying to sell your used wheel. Thanks for letting us know of this deal. 👍

@Legendary: Thanks for pointing it out. I misread his post.

Np, I also want to be sure to adhere to the "rules of the road" here too so if I do ever have something to sell I know in advance now ;)

Does this also work with Logitech UK? I have a DFGT on it's way out but I want to upgrade to a G27 anyway? Any suggestions?

Thanks :)

If you want to pay shipping costs then it should. 👍

My g27 has reached it's mid life crisis, when it calibrates it stops half way through calibration and after 5 seconds it starts finishing the calibration.

I could swear I read a post here somewhere about this, and a subsequent fix for the optical sensor

How is the G27 compared to the DFGT quality wise?

The DFGT is a great entry level wheel. The G27 is an awesome unit for the price. They both have aftermarket parts that you can get for them, and if you are just the occasional racer, I'd suggest the DFGT. For someone like me that puts a decent amount of time in every day, I'd suggest the G27.

OK thanks thinking of getting a G27 to replace my DFGT, does anyone know where I can get a G27 for less than £180 brand new as that's the best price i've found.

Thanks.

In the US at least, the G27 is $214.99 now on Amazon and Newegg (Amazon is matching Newegg's 72-hour sale). I went ahead and bought it, as it's close to as cheap as it has been. I'll be upgrading from a DFGT.
