Logitech G27 problem with start up.

About two weeks ago I found out that my optical encoder was cracked, so I had to go to that website where you can order an encoder made of brass. I got it today and when I tried reassembling the wheel, everything worked fine, until I turned it on. The LED lights on the wheel were working fine but it wouldn't turn by itself like it normally does. It turns about 10 degrees and stops and bounces back, as if it was stuck, however I can turn it myself without a problem. It will try to spin three times before stopping completely.

Thanks man, but unfortunately, still doesn't work. It said that the wheel can't touch anything and it doesn't. I made sure all the screws were tightened and still no luck.

I have figured out what was wrong. By accident I bought the older version of the encoder which had 60 slots and i needed the 30 slot version. So now there's that problem to solve. I wrote and email to the company asking if i could have an exchange and also posted a thread asking if i could use this one somehow. So thanks again for help.
