Got the Playseat Challenge because I need a foldable one but thanks to @tonidavid5 advice I ordered a reinforcement kit for it. According to the tracking number the Playseat is somewhere in Colorado so… 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

I got the base, hub, pedals, and playseat all ready to go. But there’s a 3 week delay for the RS round wheel…

Not sure there’s a workaround for that missing part hah

Enjoy!
I happen to have an extra one, haven’t even opened the box they shipped it in…it’s a long story with logitech…but I was going to put it up for whoever wants it maybe dm me

I understand that. What im asking is if an 8nm unit is a noticeable difference from a 5nm unit
You'd have better chance asking in Fanatec topics, where people may have started with the DD+ 5Nm and buy the power boost to reach 8Nm. Logi RS 50 is more an entry point into DD wheels, I guess most people here come from older belt-driven Logi wheels or no wheel at all.

The answer is that, yes, 8Nm is a substantial upgrade from 5. But it’s not the whole story: Trueforce is the other major part of the equation that the GT DD simply doesn’t have.

is the 8 nm of the RS 50 a noticable difference from 5 nm of the Fanatec DD Pro ?
I’ve gone from a Fanatec DD pro with boost pack (8NM) to the RS50. Wow RS50 so much nicer and connected to drive. Build quality is so much more solid, loving it so far
I agree. At times I play with a friend who has a Fanatec DD (8nm) wheel with the Porsche VGT wheel. Both the Fanatec and the RS50 are good wheel bases. Perhaps I'm (by now) too used to the RS50? - but i definitely prefer the RS50 with GT7. The Fanatec Porsche wheel is very nice.
