On belt wheels (like the 923) this still feels ok because the belt friction adds resistance.

The G923 and the other versions have gears, not belts, and the friction is less than with steering wheels that have a dual belt.

The spring for the gas pedal felt to soft for my liking.
I added 2 shocks and progressive springs left over from a RC car project .
 
Nit picky issue - Gran Turismo 7. When modulating the throttle at the top end there seems to be a dead zone where input doesn't show on screen. I back off the pedal and the throttle indicator in-game appears to stay at 100%. Similar issue when testing through Ghub. I can't seem to wrap my brain around how to potentially fix it. I like being able to hit full stop and modulate form there. anyone else experiencing this?

Same here, the in game calibration doesn’t make a difference there. Are you running a custom pedal curve loaded through GHub in your pedals?

I have it set to linear, previously 50% sensitivity. Feels like that might be the same thing?

Rennsport is on the settings page already. I need more time with PMR to check it and I only have access to the PC version, so that’ll be a post-launch update most likely.

Thanks for all of your help! Wondering if you had a chance to come up with RS50 settings for Rennsport on PS5? Not seeing it on settings page. Also, just curious if you / someone updates that sheet as games get updated? Thanks again!
 
Honestly haven't got access to the console versions yet, although I'd be surprised if they were that different from the PC version. Certainly couldn't hurt as a place to start.

We do review things over time but the honest truth is that most titles actually don't change that much through patches. There are of course exceptions to that but you certainly don't see it much in annualised franchises, such as F1.

Thanks for the quick reply! Will try the PC settings. I know PMR has released a bunch of physics updates, wasn't sure if those would affect wheel base suggested settings or just in game options.
 
Mostly in game and really only with the per car settings. PMR is very much in flux as they continue to work on that title so we’ll leave revisiting those settings for a while, most likely.
 
Any modifications undertaken are at the risk of the consumer, so we always advise caution. That particular one fixes the new parts at a fairly shallow angle, so it does increase the potential for them to pop out of the captive ruts. As long as you're aware of the risks though, that's always the advantage of these more open designs that we've implemented, and that applies to what we did with the Wheel Hub and the QR adapter. We know people love to tinker, so this stuff is always good to see.
