Any one know where I can get that lap device that the wheel attached to so you can hold teh wheel with yoru legs? I have the Logitech GT wheel but I have a hard time getting a table near my TV

Did it not come with one? Mine was included. It's really annoying though - hard to use. When you push on the peddles your thighs will move and the wheel will shift left and right. You're better off to get a small "tv tray" style table to use.

Is a tv tray sturdy enough for using a wheel? I've looked at these things and they seem like fun, but I can't imagine that they are sturdy without a large table. Ive used one for PC attached to the desk and it was alright..

if you're not sure if it'll be sturdy enought, get yourself a 25lbs ciment plate and put it on the table ;)

Why not try to make something like this?

It's only a 2x4 cut into two pieces, a 1x2 maybe?, and a piece of plywood on the bottom, padded as to not scratch my wooden chairs.

And here's a basic piant drawing.

I have tried the original logitech lap attachment, and you really have to squeeze it to get it to stay in place, not my cup of tea. So I made this.

Edit: The wheel is actually bigger in proportion to the lap dealie, it was just hard to draw it correctly in paint. Maybe I should unhook my wheel from the computer desk to get a picture of them together....ahh...not tonight..sleepy time.
