London at night in new GT5 Spec 2.0 intro?

Well, I was watching the new GT5's Spec 2.0 intro and I noticed that there's a scene with two McLaren MP4-12C in the first part. Where they are? It seems London. But I noticed that the MP4-12C's lights are on and there are streetlights with light. Will be Day/Night transition avaliable in the future?

PD: Sorry for my English, I can't speak perfectly (yet).
 
That was Rome first and second corner. I was wondering about that too.

Are you referring to the scene at 2:26 in this video?

 
My bad, I seem to have thought of a different scene. That is London... now day - night transitions? We can only dream of it happening, we won't for sure anytime soon.
 
It appears that they've added some sort of "bleach-bypass"-like effect so the increased contrast might be making the track look darker.
 
That part yes, but the headlights being on is another thing.

@ 2:26 I don't this is London at night. The lights in the background are being illuminated from the sun, much like the bright building behind them. If it was at night then there wouldn't be shadows across the hood of the McLaren. It's tough to see because there's a dark filter over the video added for dramatic effect. -Of course I wish I were wrong :)

Exactly.

I remember that someone said that there could be a London "Long track". Probably if we speculate we can conclude that the "Long track" will have the Day/Night transition.

But nobody knows...

It looks like they are bringing back the old test track in future DLC.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's already in the Spec 2.0 update, like Spa. :drool:
 
We have also cars with lights turned on at TGTT, but still no day/evening (night would be kinda stupid). It doesn't matter anything.
 
Even though this was some time ago I remember in the E3 2010 trailer there was a Ford GT turning on it's headlights on Madrid. It would be cool to race in Madrid and London at night but it probably won't happen.
 
Yes it looks as if both in London and Rome the head lights are on and it is in evening time. But may be they did it just to make a cool intro :confused:
 
Maybe they're holding down L1... (DS3 controls)
 
It would be very easy to implement night racing in Rome and Tokyo(like SSR7),I guess!

Than, just some seconds later, we see some X2010 in a row turning on their head lights one after another.
What do we conclude? PD maybe used the L1 button! 💡

Maybe they didn't, and maybe I really recognized the track where the X2010's are right and it's the Red Bull Hangar-7 again... damn, PD showed us this track so many times, why can't we get it into the game?? Even as drag strip only it would be nice because of the evening atmosphere.

Oh, and the test track with the X2010 speeding on in the last scene... kinda looks like the good old test track. Maybe PD is going to give this track to us as later... well, of course in a DLC that costs money then.

But after all, these things aren't surely said, just guessing from what what can be seen in the video. And there's even a nice engine sound coming from an SLS and we all know that it sounds much worse in the actual game. To me this all seems like PD just edited the scenes quite a lot.
 
If you hit the L1 button I think your high beams come on not your regular light.

There's a thread about this and people came to the conclusion that it was the Test Course. The Meters markings the Test Course has were in the video, along with the guardrails and background scenery looked similar.
 
Rome, they're pushing the Toggle Headlights button.

There is almost nothing more that I want more for a track than a time change city track. Maybe not more than the 27 track logos that were found, but I still really want this to happen. I'd say Rome would be the track to do time change at. SSR5 should be next.
 
Well I know it's Rome... I wonder... do they do that just for affects?
 
It could be just affects added into a video to make it more pleasing on the eye...

I only said Rome because I kept going to the wrong place in the video so I had to make sure for my sake.

They did the same thing during a trailer at TGTT with a black TVR.
 
Forget London at night...Gimmie the Test Track!!!!!!!!!!
