http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/car/725761155.htmlWhere can you find a 240SX for anything under 5 grand?
Why do you need it to be RWD so much? A B13 Senta SE-R is a great car if you can find out, and will probably beat a 240sx in pretty much anything you can throw at it.Well, you see, I "need" a back seat, so an MX5 is out. I have thought about a Mercedes E300, but 4 doors aren't sporty. All the US RWD 2 doors are beat to tar in my area.
Then look for an S12. Or an E30 Beamer.Well, you see, I "need" a back seat, so an MX5 is out. I have thought about a Mercedes E300, but 4 doors aren't sporty. All the US RWD 2 doors are beat to tar in my area.
Here's my suggestion: get something that won't die. Try a M-B 190E
I'm also looking into importing an AE85
Says you, bud.Well, you see, I "need" a back seat, so an MX5 is out. I have thought about a Mercedes E300, but 4 doors aren't sporty. All the US RWD 2 doors are beat to tar in my area.
I am in the same category but I have no choice in what I get. My parents are choosing for me and all I know is it must have under 3hp and .4 Flb of torque and cost no more than .50 cents and a top speed of 50 mph if dropped from space with rockets on the roof.

There are always those, one kid back in my freshman year (he was a senior) had a masserati quattroporte. One would think he'd get all the chicks but he was gay, odd isn't itBe happy that your parents can at least buy you a car. I worked two jobs to pay for my car while my family could barely even pay for our house.
You never know, you could get lucky. I know a spoiled little 15 year old at my school whose parent's bought him a stage 3 convertible Roush Mustang. Just a matter of time until he wrecks it.
well tophat, your right, but, it has to be RWD and has to have a stick and has to be sporty. Back seat, no ABS and 2 doors are bonuses though.
I'm right? Your post makes it sound like I'm dead wrong.
Why does it have to be all those things? So you can say to all the people on a message board like this "lol you fail because you drive a failmatic, and you are a pansy for having ABS"
You may be two years my senior, but driving at 16 should be more about learning, and familiarizing your self with the road, not driving like you like to drive in Gran Turismo.
Well, I should have re-phased it to say you 1/2 right. You see, I want to get into road racing (http://www.performancetouring.com//index.php?categoryid=1) and i hate auto's, hate FWD, and sporty is just something 95% of guys my age "have" to have. So let me re-set my guide lines for a car ranked from most important to least important #1-rwd, #2-stick, #3-sporty, #4-back seat, and #5-performance parts readily available. Does that help narrow down what I'm looking for?
