Why not pick up the Citreon Xsara P2 Kit Car? It is currently in the Online Dealership, it is only level 11, and it only costs 150k.

They were at the end. Before 2003 they were powered by the 3GS-GTE engine (from the Celica GT-Four).

I read through this board and thought I was going to be able to post this first...just beat me to it. I have a full-tuned neon srt-4 with a hair over 600hp...can't help with the Nurburgring time though (sitting at work :P)

Isn't the Neon a FWD? Lots of missing power while cornering.

It is FWD, yeah. I don't know if the added hp compensates or not on a twisty track. I remember using the SRT4 yesterday on the High Speed Ring along with some of the mid 400s hp/1200kg rally cars (Focus etc), and the SRT4 was about 3-4 seconds faster on that. Of course, that's very different from the Nurburgring. I did notice that its acceleration from low speeds was AWFUL though. Even the lower-hp & heavier AI cars in the Turbo race were beating my 600hp SRT4 off the line, and the cornering was definitely not on part with what I had experienced with the rally cars, so I could see it not doing so hot on the ring.
 
like any car. it comes down to suspension/camber/throttle

if i can run nascar under 6:30 at the ring! any car can be a beast LOL
