Yup, I am looking for the most challenging, most difficult, street legal car, (has to be a Premium). I want a real good challenge on the Green Hell.
Not looking for good lap times at all, but it should be a fast car as well.
Something that can easily get to 200km/h

The current really difficult but also very fun to drive car I know, is the F40with all aids off. But is there even a more challenging car out there?
That classic Alfa Racer? The Miura?

The complete opposite would be the Honda NSX Premium. So easy to handle, still the best fun among all easy to handle cars.

The Enzo and the Murci are difficult but they all come with ABS as standard. That's not really tough compared to the F40.

thanks

try the Shelby cobra on comfort soft or sports hard, it is properly hard.

The Enzo is hard too, but in a very unrewarding way. The cobra on the other hand can be coaxed into some pretty nice 4 wheel drifts.

McLaren F1 should be a good challenge. Significantly more powerful than the F40 and also without any aids, abs or power steering.

Really? The F1 came with no ABS? That's new to me. The way I used the F1 always ended up in having the fastest lap times compared to times when using other fast street cars, like the Murci SV. That's why I think, the F1 is the fastest street premium in GT5.

Wait a sec. Just did some googling. The F1 came with NO AIDS!?
Is that true?
Have to give that one a tour as well.

with all aids off and hard sports tyres you'll have you're hands full on the ZR1:scared:

Yeah good one mate but to be honest I think if you take all assists off on any rear wheel drive it could be tricky for most of them. But I think more power doesn't help.

No, I want to keep it as authentic as possible. I guess the Zonda comes with ABS, does it?

It should be a car with the following specs:

-no ABS
-no other electronic aids
-needs to have a manual gear in real life as I am using G25
with H shifter and clutch
-able to reach 200km/h at least
-a premium car
-should be a street car, but if you think that this one specific race car is
hard to control why not
-should be harder then a stock F40

Current good proposals: the Cobra, Mclaren F1

Would about the 100,000 cr dodge viper?
Didn't they say on the US Top Gear that it didn't come with any of the driving aids?
I don't know about the transmission though.

The chap who created the Dodge Viper gave a very famous interview (wish I could remember who with) in which they spoke to him about the fact that a car making such gobs of power should really come with driving aids like traction control and ABS. So they asked, had he ever considered adding them to the vehicle to which he responded something to the effect of...

It comes with all of those. They're called your right foot, and your left foot.

I haven't driven any viper except the ACR (which is easily the worst car in this game, which is VERY unfortunate), and the #91 race car which is fantastic, but doesn't fit your criteria.

I'd vote for the vipers otherwise. But the Cobra is VERY difficult to control.

That's another reason why I love the viper. sadly the new model (2012 I believe) will have assists due to new laws and rules :grumpy:

McLaren F1 in stock form is an awesome car and not that hard to handle at all.. IMO. Yes the rear breaks loose with the sports hard tires, but in a very controllable way.

The Shelby Cobra is the one that you are looking for! :yuck:

The ACR Viper is a HAND FULL, its worst to drive than the Shelby Cobra on this game. These 2 cars are only good for drag racing..

The McLaren F1 like the F40 has no assists whatsoever including ABS or power steering. It's also part of the reason for their lack of weight (apart from the carbon fibre bodywork). I would include TVR to the list as well as the '96 Lotus Elise. Of course older cars like the 300SL, Camaro/Challenger/Mustang/Corvette also lack ABS.

Pagani Zonda R, oh wait, it's not road legal.
McLaren F1 then.

Cobra is great and rewarding if you tame it properly.

Not necessarily the hardest to drive, but for some odd reason for me the premium SLR McLaren Mercedes tends to spend half the time on it's roof. Bought this car yesterday, reduced the weight,rs tires, took it for a spin 3 laps on Cape Ring Periphery, flipped it 4 times. The second it touches a curb it bounces like a beach ball onto it's roof.

For the record, In the course of the game, I've never had a car flip by accident, so this car is definitely a special case, anyone else have this experience? Suspension was stock.

Agree^.

It's an AC though, by the way.

Nope. The standard version without the bumpers and soft top is an AC but the premium version is a Shelby: Carroll Shelby was an American who conceived of the Cobra (and had a hand in designing the Dodge Vipers) and in 1982 or 83 he went to court and a settlement was reached that he is considered the designer of record of all the 60s Cobras in the US and has all rights to the name "Cobra". (Yes there is an AC on the steering wheel, but there is a "Ford" behind the fenders.)

Well you must be doing something wrong then, I found my fully tuned acr extremely easy to handle, the srt10 on the other hand....

I suggest posting your tune in the tuning forum for it. Note: I'm not calling you a liar, I'm just saying that the car is probably one of the worst in the game (in terms of the way PD has represented it). It would be great if someone had a tune for it that made it even... well... drivable! And I'm no GT noob either!

With the cobra, at least it has trouble going straight... with the viper, it has trouble turning. Awfully unfortunate for one of America's only sports cars...
