Looking for WYSIWYG editor

Hi guys
My dad is trying to learn how to make a website
but he has no knowledge in HTML coding
I have tried frontpage ... it creates a bunch of useless code

can someone recommend a very simple WYSIWYG editor?
since his website will be very simple

I use FrontPage myself, but a lot of people like Dreamweaver, I think it's called. Never used it myself.

Look into Macromedia products. I'm pretty sure they all have 30day trials.

I use Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004, but its probably a little too advanced for a simple website.

TopStyle Pro maybe?

I have tried composer from netscape
it seems a bit difficult to manage
it seems nvu is a great choice

It is not WYSIWYG, but it is very simple, and has buttons to insert the tags which helps learning "real" HTML. And it only does what you say.
