Looping When Trying To Load Game After 2.10 Udate *FIXED*

Are you having the looping problems after 2.10 update

Isn't PSN still down for maintenence anyway. I read in another thread that the maintenence time got extended and is still down. The only reason some are able to be online is because they didn't log out before the maintenence started.

Its been bad like this constantly since the patch

I didnt mean to take the thread off topic, just wanted to maybe give you hope that PD has to do somthing i.e. patch thier patch

"The reason why only some accounts are working is because if you signed in at least once 6 days prior to the update you can still sign in." I dont know if this is correct but it may be responsible.

P.s. didnt realise the maintanance had been going this long, ive been online every day since the patch with some friends, must be regional.

I am pretty sure thats not it. I hadnt logged in for a month and it worked for me.
 
is the loop gone? ive been able to sign in with no problems for 3 days, my friends haven't because of maintenance. maybe it's because i sign in during early eu hours, like before and just after 12 clock? from 6 to late at night we couldn't log in at 2 friends of mine.

That's a bad situation there mate. Is PSN working fine for you at your end now. It may sort out your issue.

Yes, PSN is working for me at this point. But, like I said, still looping after the maintenence. I wasn't holding my breath, but the PSN maintenence didn't fix the looping, still happening.

Now my GTP account won't even work, WFT.

I give up. PD can take this game and shove it up their 🤬

Its higly possible that maintenance is still going on even tho many can now log in.

Strange garbage going down with PD & GT5.
When you click on the icon to go b-spec remote racing with inside GT5 you get booted back to the main screen where you first load up, Plus you get the message its unable to use it at the moment. (something on them lines?)
So with that info it tells me something is still going on. (Maintenance?)

Dude, seriously, I never said it was Sony. I only said that by some miracle maybe the maintenence would fix things. I never said that it would fix it so don't come in here with your high and mighty all knowing attitude. If you bother to read my previous posts, I have always said that it was going to take a patch from PD to fix this crap. Never said it was a Sony problem.

Yes, I believe they are. But the point of the matter is I said that it was going to take a patch from PD, not Sony to fix the looping problem. I never said that this PSN maintenence would fix it, I was only hoping.

Now, on to newer problems. I just made a brand new account and am now getting this message: A connection to the server could not be established. ID=2:11. PSN seems to be up tho as I was able to create the new account, was able to go to the PSN store, and able to access all other PSN stuff. I am no longer getting the maintenence message like I was before so I assume that PSN maintenence is over. This to me seems to be a PD connection problem now unless I'm missing something here.

Ah, ok. So it is a GT5 (PD) thing now and no longer a PSN maintenence issue. That explains things a little bit then. Thanks JK.

EDIT: Now it seems that PD is now working on something as PSN is working fine now but now its PD's servers that are are down. Maybe now they are working on the looping problem

is this issue still going on 29% seems a very high number of people thats affected with this and thats only gtplanet users

Yes, its still going on. I was on some other forums yesturday and it seems to be a widespread problem as every forum I visited, there were people there having the same problem aswell.

PD's servers are down right now so maybe whatever they are doing will fix the problem. Who knows.

Cheers JK for the update, at least we know now for certain that something extra was up today since everyone is having new problems besides the looping. 👍
No trading/empty gift boxes no remote racing, No messages on message board within GT5 and etc etc.

Fingers crossed guys maybe everyone gets a fix in all departments of whats gone wrong since the 2.10 update.:D
That will make some happy folk but not holding out much hope.

My 5 year old plays more than me to be honest noticed that he couldn't borrow my cars earlier but he is logged into psn but i cant on my account lol , hope they fix it as 2 years basically of game save could be lost if you bought it at release :(

Yes, my save that is not working is from release day, over 2 years of playing every day. Alot to be lost because of PD's stupidity.
 
PD's servers seem to be back up now. Just tried logging into my main and still have the same ass looping issue. Go figure.
 
Well now this thread is so big that I'm kinda lazy to read all :lol:

But anyone tryed bit older backup save like 2 months old?
(Everyone got well backed everything on PC I know :lol: )

And then just delete from XMB GT5 original save and backup save, after that just add your dusty savegame :)

EDIT: Great, now my GTP account won't work.

EDIT 2: Ok, got my GTP account working again due to a slight oversight on my part. My main however is still looping so PD still need to come in with a patch and fix their crap. I'm not happy about losing over 2 years of my work due to someone else's stupidity. I wouldn't be so angry if it was my fault, but I had nothing to do with this. And if they just ignore this problem, it really tells me something about their loyality to their consumer database. Really going to make me think twice before guying another GT game. Sorry to all you GT loyalists here, but I'm sure if it happened to you, you would feel the same.

I have thrown all kinds of money into this game, and if this is how they are going to treat their customers, then I will no longer be supporting this or any future games by PD. So, unless they come thru with a fix, thats my stance.
