ya i am wondering if my logitich driving force is broken or not whenever i go on a turn why does the wheel all of a sudden go loose or something is that a glitch or is that normal?

Probably need a more specific description than that, slowhonda. When in the corner are we talking about? If it's a powerful car, softly set up, it will go light as the weight transfers to the rear wheels.

its prolly like vatty said... realistic hey! :)

ps: vatty halp on my thread plz (if you know the answer)

Sometimes the feedback in the wheel goes weak, just unplug and plug back in the usb and it should go back to normal.

ving - looks like you got your answer.

BreakerOhio - the glitch you're describing is where it fails completely, which is a lack of power. The cure you describe is correct.

slowhonda - try to recall what the wheel does through the corner, from initial braking, turn-in, and as you accelerate through the apex.

Ive noticed this same problem with my BRAND SPANKING NEW $150 LOGITECH GT! Hope its not serious.........Could be a major problem for Logitech if im not the only one.

I have had my wheel since Christmas and have used it steady...I just had it happen to me tonight...and now I am freaked.

That wheel is too expensive to have that kind of crap happen. I am at least happy that this has happened to others...I might still try to exchange it at EB....see if a new one is any better. This almost lost a race for me....was in lap 8 of 10 when it happened in the Vitz pro....ugh.

GREAT wheel though.

Chuck

P.S. Hi all...first post! Been reading for a while - but never had anything to say until now.

Hey thanks Ving...

...this is the perfect hangout for my new-found passion of GT.

For the record, I did exchange my wheel at EB today...haven't tried the new, but my theory is that it is way too expensive to treat these things lightly...

...gotta take care of the goods.

Hope to participate more going forward...happy to be here on the boards.

Chuck
