Lost premium cars

After I installed the last update for GT5 I could no longer use my premium cars like the Dodge Challenger SRT8 I get an error message that says " Racing car pack downloadable content is not installed" " Please reinstall Racing car pack" I went to DLC and nothing is there. What can I do ? Any help ? Thanks.

I think that is because GT5 online is no longer available so that means you can't use any thing which is connected somehow with GT5 online...
 
Wait--so does this mean I can't reinstall pre-bought DLC or use DLC I already have installed? I haven't played GT5 since the seasonal event to earn cars for GT6 popped up.

What happened to me was that I have lost the use of most of my premium cars. Some I bought from dealerships some like the GT5 racing car were free downloads. I don't play a lot so when I turned on the old PS it said there was an update for the game, early June as I remember so it was the last update for the game. I installed it and wham ! got exclamation marks on my premium cars that said I had to reload the DLC even when I went to the dealer in the game to see if I could buy a car over again I got the same message. So there they sit unusable. SO DO NOT down load the last update for GT5 . I have a second PS with another copy of the game and I skipped the download and no damage to my cars. I want to know if I can delete the last update from my PS. It might work or not I am afraid I am not much of a PS tech person just a player.

So a recent update rendered your DLC unusable? Like I said I haven't played the game in a month or two and I haven't updated it yet, so I'll have to be careful if that is the case.
 
It is telling you to re-install the DLC.. not to re-download the DLC which are 2 different things. Once you download a DLC you should be able to re-install it at any time since it is on your hard drive. You should be able to re-install the DLC from the Install Icon on the main game screen -or- Check your XMB, you should be able to re-install the DLC from the Account Management menu there.

Darkmotor XMB and account management can you tell me a little more on how to check it out.
I did go to the DLC using the icon on the screen and there was nothing there to re install.

If you look here, there should be a list of DLC's you have purchased.

Thanks Dark Motor. I checked it and nothing was there. I would like to find a copy of the Garage Editor and get all the cars back out of the game. Know where to get it ?
 
So this will be available after the maintenance session 8:00 pm 21 July.

So far... no indication of where the previously purchased DLC will appear for those who lost theirs to recover them.
 
Has anyone who was experiencing difficulty with DLC's benefited from this update?
