Can someone please give me a clean answer about what is LSD?
Initial, accel and de-accel. I read so much "this do that and that do this" but not all say the same

Im guessing I have a life beside siting behind my G27 and learning wich inch does what.

Can someone just please explain what does what?

Did you check out the GT5 guide, via the yellow question mark? That could help you out a bit, but I'm not sure if it's entirely right.

Checked it but i really dont understand

The LSD is a pretty dark art. I don't fully understand, but I'll try and explain it more in layman terms that make sense to me.

higher value = more stable car but at the expense of cornering. It's always a balance with a car, something has to be sacrificed and the LSD is no exception, a "lively" car is almost always faster but needs more skill to control. I raise the Deceleration setting on some MR cars because they can get a bit wayward on the brakes into a corner (I did this to help me tame the Stratos Rally Car), I'd rather do it with brake balance but GT5s settings for that is awful and not real world IMO. Hope that has helped somewhat.

so if you struggle to get the power down out of a corner you could try increasing the Accel. If you struggle to get any exit speed you could try decreasing it.

if you struggle to control a car on the brakes then increase the decel. If the car understeers too much under braking decrease it.

I hope that's right!

One more edit!! I only tweak the LSD for race cars where I don't use TCS or ABS. If you use TCS and ABS it's probably better to adjust them first.

Maybe you do not need to know then?

^+1 - Not trying to be a wise ass or anything, but if you can't find anything in that link that explains it in a way you understand, then I don't think there is much hope for you... Sorry.

Besides, why don't you try fiddle with it yourself. Changing between min. and max. settings and see what it does to the handling...

Good luck :)

Cheers

You must not know much about cars and parts and etc. that is a good example of what LSD does and is. Try reading it again, then again, if need be. Google it, and get other explanations of the LSD system. Try changing your setting and drive the car and see what happens, sometimes that will help turn on the lights "in your head.💡" Let me know how you come out on this! The best to you.:sly:

LSD is a drug, originally made to give energy to those who were homeless and without food.

You've already got one of these in the correct place. Locking this as it is wrongly placed and a duplicate...
