Lv35 to Lv40 and AUTO CAR COLLECTOR TROPHY

Hi All,

If you are just about done with everything and need that final push to Plat from lets say A-SPEC Lv35-40 and also only have about 200 cars in your garage here is a great tip.

You will have noticed that your credit maxes out at 20,000,000 so while or if you are Auto Grinding on Indianapolis Super Speedway (Dream Car Championship) with your Red Bull X1 you will make about 20,000,000 every 24 hours. Why in the world would you let all that credit go to waste and let your 20,000,000 sit there maxed out race after race. To get from lv35 - lv40, you need to Auto Grind for about 4 days or so. It sounds a lot but is a heck of a lot better then 1-2 month if you have a job or a wife/girlfriend.

Remember that annoying car collector trophy you have to get and people telling you to buy 800 Go Karts? How boring is that? Why not use all that money you are making and buy Accura NSX's for 80,000 cr. each.

Why you might ask? Well because when you put your cursor on dealership and press ok ok ok ok ok and maybe another ok, that is the car you'll get!!
Oh wait.... that USB keyboard with the stuck down enter key can come in handy here.

So here it is. Every 24 hrs when we max out our credit while Auto Grinding on Indianapolis with the X1 , we go and by 250 Accura NSX in fully automatic mode using your keyboard. And guess what. That will only take you 1 hr and 45 min to purchase 250 cars on Auto Mode. Then its back to griding. In total, it will take 4 days from lv35-lv40 and 1000 cars bought along the way.

Nah, but you see. I played for 3 month now. Gotten Gold in everything. Spent 6 days on the Red Bull X1 challenge alone. I don't see why I have to sit there for another month or 2 to get those last 2 trophies. I would really like to see platinum after all that work.

Will someone who are not lvl 40 and do not have the 1000 car trophy be looked down on by other GT5ers? Why the hurry? And I'm pretty sure most people doing the grinding do it more for having money to spend on cars they want than to reach lvl 40.

And I'd postulate that owning 800 Acura NSX 91's is pretty much waste of money (and time), just as letting the 20 mil cr cap throw money out the window. At least with the latter you don't sit with a terrible garage and a huge cleanup job.

Reaching level 40 means not so much anyway, and how many cars you have means absolutely nothing so I agree with this. Congrats to all who achieve gold on all challanges 👍

i read about the NSX auto buy before. It might be ok for getting some questionable trophy but it would be way to anoying to sell the **** out of the garage list.
After we got the blue marker for the cars, i rather into buying them all one by one over a (long) period of time.

Can I just ask, is there some big rush? I admit, on my first game save I auto grinded and traded a bit and eventually collected every car. I started another game a couple of weeks ago and am enjoying that one a lot more, doubt I will ever have all the cars on that one but it's more fun. I certainly wouldn't fill my garage up with 100's of the same car just to get a trophy.

Still, if you want to do it that way fair play, each to his own.

That is fair enough, I haven't got many golds myself due to a limit in talent. Yes I see you would like to get platinum as well for that trouble, however it seems you have missed the point in the game along the way if you were only spending the time getting all of the golds just to get the platinum trophy.

I don't see why some people have a problem with this?? If you don't like it don't do it! Instead I read things like I'm looking down on players that don't have level 40 and things like that.
Like I said eailier. I enjoyed this game so much and finally got to the point where I have raced everywhere multiple times, gotten all the gold know every track by heart. Took me 3 month!!
A bit of cheating to rank up the last 5 levels which otherwise would taken me another 2 month to do, is that so bad? The races are all the same. Over and over again.

Ok I did not try out all the cars but to be honest with you. Once you raced with the Red Bull, every other car feels kind of dull and not all that different. Sure I will be coming back to this game time and time again to race down the Nurburg Ring because I absolutly love that track but for now I am ready to move on from GT5 in about 2 days time when finally thhat Platinum Trophy pops up. It's just a matter of achievment. It does not mean that I missed the point of the game or look down on people who don't have level 40, simply because I don't care.

Play the way you like to play and if you had something against this post or think that this is not the way the game was meant to be played then I find it really strange why you entered this thread in the 1st place as it clearly states Lv35 - Lv40. If your not there, it clearly was not meant for you.

Oh yeah and there is a filter in the garage that you can use to find the car you want in a seconds even if you have 800 of the same cars in your garage. I don't see the point when people say it is messy to have 800 of the same cars in the garage. Is it any better when you have 1031 unique cars? Still gonna use that filter right? I really don't care if I have a messy garage. I also don't defrag my hard drive everyday.

Final point, if PD did not want you to auto grind, they would increase the drag when your red bull x1 grinds against the wall. Why do you think it was so hard to get bronze at 1st before so many people complained that it was impossible and they increased the bronze time about 10 seconds. Hello!! Of course it is impossible. I mean if you are into racing games, get a wheel. There are cheap ones out there so don't say you can't afford one or dont see the point of bying a wheel just for GT5. No discrespect for all you who don't have a wheel but how to you really get into the game with a dual shock? It is a racing simulator!! When was so last time you saw a Race driver at LeMan's drive his 800 horse power racing machine with a Dual Shock??

That is also a good idea but how much are the f40 again. You need to do a lot of grinding 4 that kind of cash. Are you trying to get the car collector trophy?

But..isn't there a statistic that says that 20 million credits can buy the majority of the cars in the game. You only REALLY need to hit 20 million about 5 or 6 times to hit 1000 cars. (Okay it's more than that since the remaining cars are 500k or more)

So, why buy a plethora of the same car when you can buy different cars. I hit 600 cars and only have 4 premium cars left to buy. So the rest are standard and I bet ya 20,000,000 would probably get me pretty close to 1000 cars.

I'm sorry if you can't get passed certain challenges and are a bit frustrated. Platinum for auto grinder???? That is to get one lousy trophy from lv35 up. Man you need to chill dude. I sat 6 days on the Vettel Challenge alone and spent counless hours on other tough challenges. You need to pull that stick out of your *** and realize that it is pointless to race the same track 750 times to lv up when there are not other races to be raced. And if they wanted you to do all the endurance races they would have but you don't so I rest my case!

Seriously i dont care about challenges or trophies at all. I've had my ps3 since release date & dont have 1 platinum trophy & im hardly going to start trying to get them now or spend hours on challenges.
