This is my first Nurburgring video, and my first record that i am proud of.... ;) , 7'35.720...
It was driven with no aids, Manual gearbox, Sport/soft tires, GT Mode....
Is this OK time, and where do you think i can improve myself, on what sections...
Enjoy! ;)

Just Dloading now,i will let you know what i think. BTW haw did you get the file so small. I have a video i want to upload, this too is of the nurburgring. A 5'16 time in my judd racecar. My video file is 35 mb and when i try compressing it its still 32.5mb, which is too big for rapidshare..

Just finished watching the vid, Great driving bud..👍 You seem to have mastered it well. I would like to see you in something faster.
Did you know rapidshare has a 30mb limit, you only used 8mb, next time try converting your video in a better quality as you can't appreciate the video as much as you could do. Other than that great video 👍

Very cool video...its about more than record time...smooth driving. I tend to gas out more on some of the sharper turns as i start gettin onto the straight but ya was sweet. Up the res if you can, but no big deal.

👍 👍

Thanks alot guys, glad that you like it.....
I compresed it, because i am on 56k, so it took me long enough to upload it although it is only 8 mb, took about an hour, so i can't asume how long will take if it is ~30 mb... and also i know alot of you have high speed net, but i know that there are some(like me) how has 56k.. but i think it is OK quality ;) I mean if u know the track, it is not hard to recognize.. my net is so slow to upload bigger files..

About compresion, i used Movie Maker 2, you just say how much do you want your file to be big, and that's it.... i think it is very good program, i mean 8 minutes, 8 mb, OK quality...
I see that alot of you say that N1, N2, N3 tires are most realistic, but i see that CSL comes "default" with Sport/Medium tires.. i think that is not by accident, i am sure that in reality he has excelent tires.. I tried on N2(that is Luxury in Settings, right??, i am not completery sure on that one, which is which in settings, N2 are Standard/Luxury i guess..) and the car is so unstable, i mean i berely completed in 8.10 minutes i think.. but i don't think that this is the case in reality, i think CSL has much better tires then N's... am i wrong on this one..??

Here's my first Nurburgring video - not of a BMW but here it is...

My video: http://s9.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3PXGTR4JZ846S3D95NK7NK88IU

I made it so that the DFP can be seen in action.
There's a slight lapse on end section, but otherways should be fine :)

Oh, the car is a '01 Impreza STi, stock all over, S2 tyres. Time was like 7.56 for
this run, but I've been faster on other runs.

I'll be back with a BMW video soon, using this same method 💡

Comments are also more than welcome!!

Awesome TurboJ! sweet video. Loved how you used the camera instead of using the mem card etc. Can't wait for more.

Thanks! It's always nice to get positive feedback.
I'll be back with a BMW video very soon.

I can't seem to get your video file, Boris.
Is your file storage time up or what?
I would like to see your vid - we are so close time-wise on that track,
I would really like to see it! :dopey:

there appear to be some problems with the site ... try again later ... sorry!

Well, I tried again later, and its still not working. Someone at rapidshare.com needs to be kicked in the junk and get to work on fixin the problem.
The first vid wasn't too bad, could have been better with a higher res, and the STi wasn't too bad either, don't think i've ever driven that car around that track, but now i'm gonna have to try. 👍

Oh, if you want to get a reference point for the lap time, the STi I used was the '01 Prodrive -type. It appears on the newest used cars lot every now and again.
It seems to have crisper turn-in than the regular STi, so it could be faster on the ring too.

It works, u just have to click "free" in the bottom of the page, and then wait for that countdown also at the bottom of the page, and then just click download... :)
