The car on leaderboard is Honda Integra type R 04 RM when i last checked. ie. Go buy one on the honda dealership, RM the car at Auto and go tune the car to max the hp then lower the HP to 295hp by power limiter and add some weight on the ballast. U'll then have a fast car that qualifies and get gold relatively easily. The super sharp turns are quite ideal for DS3 users so u may want to use that. I got the gold $ and beat a quick retreat. For a challenge, do it fully legit with a stock Honda Civic Type R. I only manage bronze with that.

A stock Honda Civic will get you nowhere near 57.6. (no matter which)

gtnoobie, I've already got the car, but the weight does not go below 900 something kilograms, 100 kilos is a lot for 295 hp, thanks for the replies

Didn't tried but maybe what you asked (800kg 295hp, not necessarily the fastest cars):

Mazda Kusabi
Mirage Cyborg ZR '97

Maybe these cars could be tuned near 295 hp, but not even close the 950kg Integra RM in terms of lap times

Can't use those cars. They have to be Front Wheel drive I believe.

let me rephrase the question, is there a car that is FF, with a weight of 800 kgs.(very important) and a 295 hp?, thanks for all the replies, I could not find it.

Not that I'd bother with. They handle like rubbish. Just use something powered at 295hp around 1000kg. I got 59 secs with a Honda CR-Z and that's a horrible racer compared to the Civic and Integra.

I just don't understand this event. Every other TT I've tried has been ridiculously easy. In it's partner event I took gold in 4 laps with a car 50hp down and 250kg over the limit, by 3 full seconds. For this one even using an Integra touring car with lots of downforce and right at the HP limit (but it is 200kg over) I could only get within about half a second of gold after an hour and a half of trying. If it reqires CS tires, you'd think a race car like that should be overkill.

I suppose I need to get an RM'ed Integra to get lighter, maybe that will get me the half second I need. But it has never been necessary for me to get one specific car to have a prayer at a TT before.

I'm not saying "bawww it's impossible." I know I suck at driving FF cars, I never do it since I despise them. I'm more just perplexed at PD's idea of balance. How can so much be so astonishingly easy and then they come up with something like this? Hell, most of the game can be golded falling-down drunk in weak cars.

I used the Citroen Xsara Rally Car, it was a bit of a fight but i did it and it felt good!

If you have found it in the Used Car dealership already, the TRIAL CELICA SS-II (ZZT231) '03 is a great car for this trial as well. 👍

I did it with the RM'd Integra. First lap I was shy by .018, second by .009. Finally I gave in and put TC at 1, I was losing to much time with wheelspin.

RM'd Integra mad it for me something about 0.57,9xx. i tried it with the swift wich is lighter but no way didi i come near the integra times...

I tried several cars that came close without retuning them (already max tuned a few for other raceing). I found that the biggest difference was in getting what power the car had connected to the ground.

I was spinning from first through third gear accelerating out of corners. I started easing up on the throttle until I hit third and made enough of an improvement to earn gold on each race. Exit speed is King with these FF cars.

Download the run from the top time on the list and you will see that they are intentionally banging off of the walls. Another sad representation of GT gamesmanship, but I guess it's only a game, right?
