(Contest ended since the game was released)

I thought it would be a fun thing to have a top speed contest. Who is the fastest Mobster on GT Planet? Works on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

This is how you do.

1. Take any car to the highest speed you can achive.
2. Put the record car in your garage.
3. Take a photo of the "Max Speed Reached".

Ranking:

1. 200 kmph / 124 mph GTP_ENERGIYA
2. 196 kmph / 122 mph kekke2000
3. 193 kmph / 120 mph WeinerSchnitzel
4. 187 kmph / 116 mph Legendary
5. 166 kmph / 103 mph Tiddy

My current attempt is a pitiful 103mph in a stock Shubert Frigate so I didn't see the point in posting a picture as it's not faster than the highest current speed :(
 
I got 187km/h in the same car as kekke and I couldn't beat it :/
 
kekke2000, i tried this but sorry i have no camera to take picture, i tried same car as you and got 191.5kp/h (119 mph )

I hope i get a fair translation of the units. I use google and split it at .5 (122,5=123 122,49=122)

edit: I wonder if it's possible to do 200 kmph
edit2: PC players do have a little advantage since there is a patch to remove the timer on PC.
 
Interesting thread, so you can get your car tweaked at the garage. Cool, I didn't know that.

Off topic, I've been trying out the jump I found on one of the dirt streets near the bridge. If you don't get enough speed you crash into the abutment and die, but get it right and you fly right over the bridge lanes and land pretty much ok on the other side. Excellent for losing the cops.

The more little things I find in the demo like this the more its becoming a must buy 👍
 
Kekke2000, am i allowed to change my top speed, i sorry to say i tried another top speed attempt yesterday & when i put car back in garage, it was 124mph ( 200kph )
