Gotten around to doing some more AI work - here's the first.

This AI rework is for the International layout (the main layout) of @shi 's conversion of HarySeb's Magnificent Park.

It's one of the best fictional circuits out there - one of shin's best conversions alongside Road One International - and just got a major graphics overhaul a month ago. Unfortunately, the AI were not that quick, and Turn 1 was a crash nightmare for...

AI seems great till they get to the bridge/overpass and do a very short brake in the middle of it for no reason?

Hi, thanks for the heads-up from the thread. Never got a notification for this for some reason.

What CSP version are you on? I'm on the latest build and am having the same problem.

When making the AI on 0.2.8preview I didn't have this issue.
 
Hey, I'm on 2.12 Preview 1 (I think the latest too)...after reading your posts and others maybe it's just a random CSP bug...kinda annoying as I love the track

yep, I'm on the same.

I'll clean install the next CSP version when it comes out, and run this AI to see if it's fixed. If not, I'll roll back then to 0.2.8 to see the results there.

hopefully it gets cleared up with the next update. I'll post the bug on the CSP discord this week.


I love the track as well - hence the work to get the AI in a nice window. It's fantastic to drive.
 
Update, saw that dudes post on thread and turned off all nuzzis app. Aggression 100% AI 96% with F12003 and don't seem to be doing it anymore...

did you have the Match Fuel App installed? that's the only one I have - and it shouldn't change car behavior at all...


EDIT: removed it and the braking still happens.


what do you mean by "turn off"?

bumping this to see if you have had any more success - I've tried a few reliable cars now and they all brake on that straight.

I've also looked into Nuzzi's apps (found a "copy" on the internet) just to see if they modify any files other than in the apps folder, and they don't. In that sense, I have a "clean" install without any Nuzzi apps at all. I have used them in the past, though - to disappointing results.

Sorry, meant disabled it in CM...
BTW I have New AI disabled
