The online service of Gran Turismo 5 will undergo maintenance during the following hours:

Start: 12/1/2011 07:00 GMT
Finish: 12/1/2011 11:00 GMT

During the maintenance, it will not be possible to connect to any of the online services.

*Please note that the exact times of the maintenance may slightly vary.

Thanks man, I was wondering when it was coming. Now lets see whats up with the DLC? I hope we get more than 2 tracks, new or old'
 
Hopefully they will be fixing the sudden disconnect issues that arise as soon as I enter a room and begin to drive.
 
Around Christmas is more like the week before or after, not the start of December...

No, but in the past when a update has been announced, a maintenance session goes ahead followed by the update. Pretty safe to presume the update will be up to a week after that date.

Updates come on Tuesday's, regular maintenance happens on Thursday's. This one is on a Thursday.

It's not me who is using American notation but the Norwegian gran-turismo.com page from where I copy pasted the info from.

How can it be world peace if we cannot agree on a simple thing like date notation.:)

I always thought it made more sense that way, 12/1/11 or as above. It's essentially a condensed version of the full 'December 1, 2011'.

For me the most common-sense form is 2011.12.01
This will mean that your pc can read/organise dates in chronological order.
Live cd concert dates on iTunes databases for example would be all over the place otherwise. (for all of you also in the live bootleg community)
Its just another way...:D

See, thats funny, because here that date is 1/12/2011, which, expanded out= 1st of december 2011...

since the maintenance was performed, I went online and was repeatedly disconnected. What's up with that? What kind of maintenance would cause my game to disconnect twice within an hour of entering a racing room? Has this been happening to others? Lots of unanswered questions here...

This troubles have been happening since the Spec 2.0!believe me.it's absolutely frustrating when I try to play GT5 with my Italian GTCommunity(GTClubItalia.com)!we have continuous disconnections,ghost cars.difficults to access into the lobby or private room.......I don't care about DLC OR new cars/tracks but please PD give me better and an improved online-mod!
