Tuesday night in Seattle, we won again. This time, a 5-2 victory at the Seattle Mariners. Winning for HOU was Collin McHugh along with a save from Josh Fields. Erasmo Ramirez was the SEA loser. The Astros are assured at least a series win at this point.

* MLB Network shown the New York Yankees at the Boston Red Sox. These rivals went at it hard, and it began with NYY banging in two runs in the Top of the 1st. The Bronx Bombers went on to win 9-3. Masahiro Tanaka remains perfect with a 3-0 record, as he won for NYY. Jon Lester picked up the loss for BOS, falling to 2-3.
* Joey D's Tigers roared loudly in MoTown with anm 8-6 victory over the visiting Chicago White Sox. Verlander was the DET winner along with a Joba Chamberlain save. Charlie Leesman lost for CHW.
* You can't win if you can't score. That's the lesson Atlanta learned the hard way at home to Miami. Combining on the 1-0 win for Omnis's Marlins win was José Fernandez and a Steve Cishek Save. Alex Wood lost for ATL.
* Patrick's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim hammered the Washington Nationals 7-2 in Washington, D.C. The winning pitcher for LAA was former Diamondbacks pitcher Tyler Skaggs. Falling to 0-3 and taking the loss for the Nationals was Taylor Jordan.
* Dolph Drago's Red had themselves a good Tuesday of baseball, taking down the Pittsburgh Pirates 4-1 in Pittsburgh. Johnny Cueto was the CIN winner, and Edinson Volquez was the PIT loser.
* St. Louis wasn't mesmerized by the bright lights of New York City. In this NL Central vs. NL East match, the Cardinals took down Blitz24's Mets 3-0. Adam Wainwright won for St. Louis along with a save from Trevor Rosenthal. Dillon Gee was the losing pitcher for NYM.
* At Wrigley Field, it was a great night of baseball... if you're a Cubs fan. At least on this night, the Cubs are higher up on the food chain than the Diamondbacks. The Cubbies won 9-2 over R1600Turbo's Diamondbacks in Chicago. The win went to Jason Hammel for CHC, and ARI saw Brandon McCarthy take the loss.
* Last year's AL West battle came down to Texas and Oakland. Oakland could slap around the Astros, but they couldn't tame the other Texas team... at least after this game. The Texas Rangers won 5-4 in Oakland. Alexi Ogando won for Texas including a save from Joakim Soria. Luke Gregerson was the losing pitcher for Oakland.
