This is in response to vinnys private message he sent to me. I would post his PM but alas, it disappeared.
Thanks.
I had realized that once you had tried to get me in trouble with the mods about the regulations of which I was not aware, that you are the "teachers pet" or "alter" boy, and that any derogatory remarks you made to me were going to go un-noticed. I understand the whole double standard, hypocrisy thing for "teachers pets". Thats ok, because the way I see it, I have you to thank for making me aware of the regulations and thus, not getting banned.
I also realized that I didn't have to prove myself to a 14 year old kid when I had already done so. I had clearly stated in my post "for those against the 1.07 patch" and that there were going to be those oposed to my idea. That too is ok, because I understand not everyone will go along with my idea.
Yet, for someone to repeatedly attack / harass and even name call me just because of a thread I've made, really shows their age.
Just one question; what does this statement mean?
" I'm a kid, sitting in front of a computer talking to a philistine and laughing about how soon you are about to be kicked of GTP."
Good luck to you too lil' Sir.
And so I shall post the original
VISITOR MESSAGE that I sent (which is still visible), and the PM I sent back. This is turning out to be really underhanded and shady (I posted mine off of this thread but still publicly), and this has gone from defending myself, to an intellectual exercise, to plain stupidity.
Visitor Message (sent before his message, and in an effort to end this argument):
Once again, I shall state that I am not out to attack/harrass you. I am merely here to clarify on an issue. I never proved your point. Your 'point' started out in some form of focused logical order, but then fell apart as you became desperate to devalue and degrade me. I don't feel like continuing your post, so I am posting here. Good day to you, sir. If there is one thing to be learned from this exchange, it is that some people need to act their age.
PM (sent in response to his PM even though I was trying to keep it public):
Sure, I'll just ignore all the other things I have to say, be the mature one, and get to the point.
You were vile, rude, and disgusting (see: The comment that got you a warning. That was not a petty regulation or a minor rule, that was a pure and clear infraction). Hence, you fit right into the category of philistine, and I stand by my statement.
I would also like to say that I never said anything derogatory to you, that I do not "work for PD," and that I am not a "teacher's pet" (derogatory things that you have said to me). I haven't called you any names (aside from those that had a precedent by which to stand), and I haven't harassed you. The fact is that the situation is the other way around, and you have repeatedly been derogatory to me. I still do not understand your point to prove a kid wrong, which you're not even doing a great job at. I responded with minor criticism to your OP, and you responded back rashly and rudely which then started this talk we are having.
Now that you've learned your lesson, go do something better/more useful in life than failing at an argument with me. I certainly am going to (you can have your petty last word to this discussion, and I'll just move on).
Goodbye. I would call you "sir" and feign respect at the last moment as you have to me, but I'm sorry to report that I do not think that you deserve that title anymore.

I went over this in simpler terms and spelled it out even clearer in order to get my message across. Thanks for the support.
