Notes:

This Lamborghini Gallardo replica is based on Reiter Engineering Gallardo LP600 GT3.
Specs based on LP600 GT3 used in 2014 European GT3 Championship with 535HP, 1238kg and 40/60 weight distribution based on GT3-R of older model available from 2006

The weight distribution can't be replicated without getting the car overweight, so I decided to stick with closest weight distribution at 42/58. Weight at 1238kg and power set at 535HP.

Suspension is quite tricky on this car, I setup the front spring rate to be as responsive as possible to avoid understeer. The rear spring rate is optimized for balance, any higher or lower will alter the car handling behavior, so it's very much well tweaked so you can fine tune the car just by lowering or raising rear spring rate. More higher rear spring will cause oversteer, while lower will make the car harder to rotate.

Damper has bee tweaked to support the stiff springs, giving good traction out of corner and able to brake very late without losing grip at the front. ARB set at higher rear stiffness as it gives the best balance for the rear spring rate. This will give the Gallardo go kart like handling, direct, responsive and raw.

LSD is 2 way, based on real life spec of 45% lock LSD, the front has been set at all 5 to give as close as possible to open diff. Torque has been set at 90% rear, sadly 100% is not possible to make RWD Gallardo GT3. Fear not, the car has been tuned to feel and drive like a RWD as much as possible.

Gearing comes from homologated Gallardo GT3-R 6 speed sequential ratio with custom final to give balance of top speed and acceleration.

I tuned and tested the Gallardo GT3 at Tsukuba, Brands Hatch GP, Silverstone GP, Bathurst, Spa and Ascari.

The car is capable of low 54s at Tsukuba and 2:02s at Silverstone GP during early build phase. At Spa, it did low 2:22s. A replay of the Spa lap has been provided.

ENJOY

You mean you and me can't have a drift off yet? and I put @LordJCS on stand by for this momentus occasion. Never mind.. :)

Ok so maybe I'm still not awake yet. I didn't delete my drifting tune. *face palm*
Gallardo 560-4 '08 Drift
Ok @LordJCS be gental  I'm still learning this style. :nervous:

You wont need nerves of steel to drive it, just a pair, big ones.

I sense a drift duel brewing.. What are the perimiters that needs to be taken into account?

It will be pretty simple. Give them a shake down on the drift seasonal and see which gets the best points. :)

that's what I was thinking.
Have fun with them. this tune i made is well umm not sure how to describe it. i got my best points entering corners at low speed and 3rd gear and flooring it.

Edit; speeling correcteed  one handed typing isnot easier when you a 2 y/o trying to help you.

hehe.. I can relate to that..

Well.. After messing about with both yours and @shaunm80 's sidewinder Lambo's i've come to a conclusion.
I can't pass a fair judgement on these.

Looks like i'll have to go for time instead of points.

With that said, any specific track when it comes to the other ones?

Any track your comfortable with for drifting. Mine was built for sector based drifting not whole track drifting so not sure how it will work for use through entire track.

You can't call it... they are they close or so different that making comparisons is impossible....

They are complete opposite of each other.

Figures

Knew we forgot to invite someone :dunce:
Have at it sir. Based on the little bit of information @LordJCS has provided it is going to be comparing apples to oranges with this pair. Any track(s) you want to go at it them with is fine by us.

Let's say it like this. One is predictable, the other one not so much. Still fun to drive, so i'll keep at it for the next couple of days.

If i can't wrap my head around it i'll just go for the track versions instead.

Tsukuba - 14506 Points
6.5/10

The car feels very heavy and hard to initiate with, feels far more planted and controlled than it needs to be. The transmission was way too close and I found myself constantly bouncing off the rev limiter which was limitting my speed through the corners. Once the car was loose it was very easy to control but it ran out of front end grip quickly in the longer faster corners and would unceremoniously plow nose first into the gravel.
Overall it was a fairly capable and predictable points scorer but I never felt like I was able to drive the car as hard as I like to and the car didn't really feel like this was what it wanted to do in life.

@Otaliema

Tsukuba -11414 Points

For a car with 760 furious italian stallions under the bonnet this thing was surprisingly shy about letting its rear hang out. Every time I tried to use the throttle to increase rotation the car just straightened up and gripped. This made the car very difficult to work with, the front end had very limited turning grip which prevented getting the car loose using weight transfer and inertia and you couldn't use the throttle to 'power over' and snap the rear loose. The only way I could sustain a "drift" was to alternately tap the gas and handbrake to fool the points system.
Overall I think the only thing I can say about this one is it needs to go back to the drawing board

Thank you for the for feedback on that. I will def go back and see about front end grip, and I don't why it so willing to straighten out on throttle maybe a difference in wheel and controller on this one, I have problems with snap over steer during drifts with it.

After 30 laps at Spa, I think that I have corralled this beast. It took some pretty fine tuning to get it manageable, but I think I have it down. The brakes need to be a little better, but the thing rockets out of corners really hard. In the first couple of laps, the gallardo bites back pretty hard if you try to brake and turn at the same time. The real culprit I firmly believe is the weight balance. There is some much weight at the back that it acts like a pendulum. Overall though, very solid effort once again. The fine details are where you excel with all of your replicas. It's really a shame that this one has a racing exhaust on it. I definitely enjoyed tweaking it to perfection. Another great job Ridox!

Thanks for driving the car 👍, the braking part do need very smooth modulation when applying steering input at the same time. On the replay of Spa lap that I included, I also brake while entering the apex, but it needs to be precise and smooth. Have you tried to increase the front BB by 1, 4/3 for example. It helped a bit, and increasing the LSD braking to 30 or more can also stabilize the braking process, although it might be less eager to turn in.
The real Gallardo GT3 has 40/60 distribution, if that spec is possible in GT6 while still getting the weight right, it may be a totally different beast :D

I'll drive the car again with more weight and 40/60, see if I can get a tweak that could tame it and adapt it on the GT3

I started out with the same settings you had, then I went to 30 on the LSD brake sensitivity. After that, I went lower on the rear spring rate, and finally, switched the LSD to 33 again. I might try the BB thing in the morning as well.

I found the amount of grip confusing when accelerating, I had to check a few times that I didn't have TC or ASM on because thats exactly how it felt. Its a thing to behold because that level of grip shouldn't be possible with CH tyres and maxed power

Another Great tune that tamed The Beast. 👍 It drove great and it did what I wanted it to do without over or understeer. I ran it at Midfield Raceway and my best time was 1:12.978 but it could be better, there's a couple of seconds I left out on the track, but all in all it works! It could be used in a Seasonal race at 550 PP. I'm going to keep this in My Tune File.

Thank you very much for testing and I'm glad you enjoyed the car 👍 I think my best at Midfield was in the high 1:10s but I have been running a fair amount of laps in cars at this spec, not quite as fast as my LFA or 458 (coming soon) but I think the tables would be turned if it rained

Thanks mate for the review :D What tire did you test the car on ? SS or RH ? The car drives a bit different on racing tires.

On SS, 1st lap 1:10.3s with 1:09s possible as the 1st sector was in 22.2s, it should be able to reach 22s flat 1st sector. and 43s last sector.

SS tires drives more predictable than on RH :P

Here's a Photo of the car that I did with Ridox's Tune!!!

Final driving tips :

Brake early and turn sharply, plus I would recommend not using more than 50% brake pedal.

Edit : Although I built this car on the Nurburgring, I noticed that everyone seems to be running it on Midfield, so I gave it a shot and ran a 1.08.079 with an auto box on my second lap. Doubtless it can go faster but not a bad start.

(I don't know how to upload GT6 pics to GTP tbh so I'll just describe the visual spec)
if they are saved on your computer. Look for the Landscape icon next to the smilies icon click it, select image and upload and pick insert full or thumb nail the site takes care of the rest. or you can use

to insert an image from the web.
*note the image is a random one I grabbed from a goggle search it's the M4 performance car*
