I've been uploading some first-time ghosts, if anyone would beat them I would be very grateful. :D
 
I think I've found my favorite combo, for now anyway. I'm really starting to love Rosalina with the Jet Bike and Sponge Wheels. That combo just feels amazing to drive, although it took me a bit to get used to the inside drifting.
 
1400 coins and I finally unlocked the Circuit Special. Now to unlock the Slick wheels and I'll be set.
 
Anyone know how to unlock cups? And also, I'm on right now if anyone wants to play. My sister might be playing with us though. My Mii name is "Nii." My sister is "Dedei."
 
Just got my gold wheels from doing all the staff time trials. They are beautiful.

Windows 7.

@peobryant If you are planning to use Circuit Special/Slick/Yoshi then we'll almost be alike with the main difference being I'll use Azure Roller tyres.
 
@RESHIRAM5 I forgot how to do it on Windows 7, but I think you just go to control panel, networks(or something similar to that, like for me its Network Connections) and look for the one where you're computer accesses the internet, click it and you'll get a window that looks like this, and then click repair.

By the way, you only need 1 star in 150cc and Mirror to get gold kart. :indiff:
 
And here I've been getting 3 stars in EVERY CUP! Oh well, at least I can say I did it. I've still got Mirror left to do though.
 
As of yet, I don't think they've confirmed whether it'll even be available outside of Japan. The fact that there will be (or could be) DLC stuff is good news, though.

Wouldn't it be nice if they picked up on the "content funded by vanity" trend and charged for fancy karts while expanding the track roster for free?
 
It sure would, it has so much potential on expanding unlike most other Mario Karts, so I hope that Nintendo realizes this and acts on it. It's like how Gran Turismo benefited from updates, DLC, and other things due to always being connected.
 
I would buy the crap out of MK DLC.

My god, anybody tried karting the 'Steel Diver'? :lol: :lol:

It's the most insane kart in the game, it's so sluggish and huge, even as a Baby karter.

I'm going to be testing the Standard Bike, Kart, ATV and Sport Bike (because there is no inside standard bike) to see which vehicle is the most superior. I'll be testing on every track and will be having a point system to prove which is best.

I'll be taking 4 fine lap times and then find the average to confirm the set time (lap times, not race times).

Rules, I'll Follow:
Normal Tyres and Super Glider only.
No shortcuts.
I must hit an obstacle every lap (to test acceleration). If I can't, I'll either fall off or hit 2 walls.
I must go off the track in a certain section every lap (to test grip).

I'll get back to you guys with updates on how the testing is going.

In case you are wandering, I'll be using Iggy to test because he is in the center weight class.

Why don't you just test off the startling speed with no boost to see acceleration? Means you won't have discrepancies by hitting different objects on different tracks?
 
@RESHIRAM5 Hm. I have no idea where it would be since you're using wireless, unless they replaced it with the diagnose button. Is there a way you can connect it by ethernet cable just for a moment to see if you can do it be direct connection? I'm just wondering because that's the way I have mine setup since I use a desktop.
 
I don't test lap 1. I'm only doing lap times 2 and 3 (twice so I get 4 laps of data) and besides, that only occurs one time.

I've finished testing at Mario Kart Stadium and it was as I predicted except for the ATV. The results were:

1st - Inside Bike - 40.068
2nd - ATV - 40.499
3rd - Kart - 40.782
4th - Outside Bike - 40.884

Current Standings
Inside Bike - 09 Points
ATV - 06 Points
Kart - 03 Points
Outside Bike - 00 Points

Next is GBA Mario Circuit (not doing the tracks in order).

@Mega Umbreon no I can't. I tried Diagnose but It said "Troubleshooting can't solve the problem". I then went to MK8 to see if it worked but the same error.

I guess if I can't connect to NN when it comes to online gameplay then I can't race with you guys :(.

@Wolfe and I had some great races last night. Every race it was either me or him up front, it felt like, though he was more consistent than I was since I had a couple of 5th and 4th place finishes. The last race we had was an epic one. I'll just let you watch this video and see why.
 
I just picked up a Wii U today and go ta copy of MK8. I'll share my info once I'm all setup and such 👍

Haven't played since the GC version and that wasn't a lot >_< and never found time for MK7 on the Wii. I read a thing where the Big N shut down the online stuff for MK7 on the Wii.

I finally got the update installed, I'll never complain about a GT update ever again. Why this thing doesn't have a LAN port is beyond me.

I don't recall what my login is for my Nintendo ID for my Wii that I created ages ago, but my new Nintendo ID is JUMPxACE 👍

Is that all the info you guys need?
