I'm starting to adore this quad bike, it's so much fun to throw around...the handling is so odd but addictive.
 
I found the Handling of the ATV rather nice and were my favourite until I tried more Inner Drifting Bikes.
 
I've not had any time this weekend to play MK, and I got Euro Truck Sim so that was taking up my gaming time this weekend, I'll have my TT time forwarded to you tomorrow Reshi.

Also, I hit the 4500VR mark the other day. :D
 
MK8 has hit 2.3 Million sales worldwide apparently, that's in just over a month!

I found out the A.I can be sneaky and slow down when a blue shell is approaching them. Luigi almost took me down doing that.
 
The A.I. are seriously better than before, it's just a pity they are still too slow to pose any sort of threat.
 
I'm fine with it because that is due to the tone down rubber band A.I.
 
Great news guys! I am trading in my Xbox 360 plus 5 games for a Wii U and Mario Kart 8!! :D
 
Thanks! Might take me a few days to unlock everything and get up to speed with the best techniques to go fast and whatnot but I'm excited to get started. :D

How to Submit???
Follow these steps.

1. Add me (so I can find your videos).
2. Set a time
3. Edit the Highlight Reel so it'll be 30-60 seconds then upload it to MKTV (Youtube is optional)
4. I'll watch them and write the times down and I'll announce the top 5 at the end of the week
Remember: You can only submit a certain amount of times per challenge, how many will vary for each challenge.​

I just realized you can't upload replays retroactively so I'm out. :(
 
I made the time and then quit the event, I tried to find my clip to upload to youtube but it was gone for some reason.:banghead:

After my first two hours or so with the game, I can say that I am extremely impressed with the gameplay. It's everything I expected it to be. Now I just need to get better at it. I'm sloooooowwww. 50cc is almost done. Have 3 stars on everything I've done but special cup when Bowser threw a red shell at me on the final corner and passed me on the first track. :( I did a quick time trial run at Mario Stadium and I was 25 seconds off the world record. :lol: I'm sure I'll get much better at it as time goes on, but I just wanted to test my pace in the early game versus the top of the world. I'm gonna use it as a gauge as how far I improve over the coming weeks and months. :)
 
25 seconds off isn't bad, especially since you're comparing yourself to people who use the Fire Hopping exploit.

If you go to find ghosts, you can find our times in Gold/Orange if you added us.

This thread has been dead for awhile :lol:.

Still waiting for anyone to challenge my Mario Kart Stadium, Rainbow Road and N64 Rainbow Road times.

Anyway, whose vehicle they got for this weeks TT Challenge, I got the Yoshi Bike with Retro Off-Road wheels.
 
I've not really been touching the TTs recently, mostly just online. :D

Speaking of which, had some awesome races with @steele7xx and @Mega Umbreon tonight...was a very tough room we were in.

My router somehow doesn't like Nintendo :yuck:. I tried enabling DMZ and everything but nothing works BUT Pokemon, I can only send or receive data like TT Ghosts
