I want to make a COMPLETE list of standard cars that appear in different colors but that are not paintable.

I searched this forum and found many threads but none of them were complete. So please help me out guys so we can update this list until it's finished.

Some color names aren't correct by label because haven't found the correct info so that info is also welcome.

AFAIK, both academy cars are paintable.

Also, there are some non-race cars that are unpaintable but are available in different colors.

Two I have found are the Citroen Xsara and the Honda Element.

I didn't know that for the 2 Nissan Cars.

Could you give me the colors of the Xsara and Element? Most people wouldn't care if it are non-race cars but it would only be to complete the list.

Um, the Veyron is paintable... and I'm pretty sure I painted my Motor Sport Elise too.

Also, please add the Chevelle. I haven't seen it in very many different colors and would be nice to know :)

That said, nice to see a list of the stock colours anyway :)

Something that caught me out recently was when I painted my Merc 300SL Chrome, only to find it wouldn't then let me paint the wheels too, so they were blue and looked stupid.

The key is if your car has painted wheels, make sure you can repaint them and have an appropriate chip to match the body colour, or buy it again if it's a premium with the best match (I went for a black 300SL, looks fine now)

The problem with painting the Veyron is that it can only be done in a single colour.

I said ADD the Chevelle... it's not on the list and it's not paintable.

And I remember now, I confirm I did paint my Motor Sport Elise, I painted it gold to match the emblem on the wheels :)

You said that the Volkswagen - New Beetle Cup Car '00 (# 21) is purple. Pretty sure it's silver.
Maybe #20 is purple then?

Agreed. And I've heard it comes in around 30 color combos.

I literally have no idea what you're trying to say, but my Veyron came in White and black and I painted the white part purple, and the black part stayed black.

There is a two tone green version in my OCD right now, annoyingly I had to buy it then couldn't buy it again, had promised a repainted Alpine Blue one in a trade then realised I had done some irreversible modding, so had to buy the OCD one and respray it Alpine Blue, not realising it would then be "sold out" :dunce:

But soon as I finished this grind, hopefully it will still tell me the colour scheme.

In other news I think the UCD now cycles colours as in GT4, since the update. I could be wrong though, but at least they are different!

OK I hadn't actually started the DCC grind so checked:

There's your #33 (and no, it isn't blue-green, and actually looks a little, well, green, depending on your tastes)
