Lookin' good for the first time! :D

I just recommend to use Shutter Speed at 60 , because it seems like your car is stoped on all pictures.

__________

If you want to get "artistic" , try F/ at 1.0 and Panning mode 1 :)

Judging by the start i think you've yet to get to 'Masterpiece' status but good start. keep up the good work. 👍

Yeah kinda agree. But I think you've got a couple nice ones in that last set. If you get into editing some of those could really come up well.

Keep at it, takes time and practice and you'll improve. 👍

This is what I was wanting to say, but I didn't want to sound like a douche.

Keep up the good work though. 👍

Yeah, i probably do sound like a bad bellend saying that but i'm not putting him down. It's a good start to a gallery with good shots and like everyone on here after a few weeks his improvement will be noticable.

this forum is littered with Masterpieces though from loads of members so it's not a daft statement regarding GT5 photomode and it's results.

Looking back through most peoples galleries on here and comparing the first page to their last is sometimes astounding in the difference of quality.

Good start, I recommend you try lowering the shutter speed to get a sense of movement in your shots as tronrider mentioned.

Welcome aboard to the GT5 gallery bandwagon, fabmaru!

Great start there! 👍 Although you need to add speed to your cars more!
This ain't GT4 where "Panning Mode 1" isn't the only option. Try out Mode 2 or, better, 3.

Welcome here :)
Nice start, follow the advice above and you will get quickly some better shots :)

Thanks for the comments and tips everybody. I will try by best to improve my photos and make them true masterpieces. :D But non of my photos will be edited outside of the game. I've never done and I never will. Not just because I'm terrible with photo editing programs, but also because I want to show what GT5 alone can do. No further edits.
Thanks again for your comments, I will make a new update as soon as I can. :)

Well, Fabio. Like Justin said, you should use panning mode 2 and 3 for moving shots. It will be in a menu where you have photo filter options and sizing options (I'm pretty sure you press start or select). If you do that these will become so much better. :D

The lack of motion killed otherwise a very nice first set. Continue shooting and improving!

Thanks for the comments and tips everybody, I really appreciate it!

And now, its time for the second update! This time, I have one of my favorite cars to show you:

Subaru Impreza WRX STI

That's all I got for you know, hope you like and please comment. :)

Nice shots man. 👍

I'll echo what everyone else has said; try out panning mode 3 (or 2) (accessed by pressing triangle) and shutter speed 1/60. You'll notice your shots getting better and better. :)

I look forward to seeing more from you! :)

Have a good look at this, too.

The last shot most certainly is the best, however the car barely looks like it is moving still. Try panning mode 3 and taking shutter speed down to 60. A simple rundown on the panning modes is as such:

Panning mode 1: The camera is not moving at all, so the background will probably not be blurry, but the car will. I recommend this mode only for shots where you want to focus on the background and have the car completely blurred out.

Panning mode 2: The camera is moving, but at about half the speed of the car. Panning mode 2 is useful when focusing on two cars, and for having a background with little blur. This mode is also good for realistic shots that sit off of the road, like this for example.

Panning mode 3: The camera moves at the same speed as the car, this is the most commonly used panning mode, and it is used for shots that sit on the road with the car. Shots like this for example.

These probably aren't good examples, but it may help.

Thanks Skython!

And here is a new update featuring the...

Hope you like and please comment. More than to the last update. :)

Great work, Fab! 👍
You finally nailed the movement!

YES! You've got the hang of it now, and this new set is by far your best! 👍 Can't wait for more.

Thanks for your comments. Your tips helped me a lot making this set my best one so far . Expect a new one tomorrow or saturday. :)

It's time for a new update! Featuring a race, for the first time in my gallery!

Some photos turned out much darker than they were on my PS3 but I hope you like and please, don't forget to comment! :)

Other than some underexposed shots and some unfocused shots, I'd say, a pretty neat job in the set. The sense of speed is well conveyed in the photos. Good job. 👍

Agreed with Taiga. This, this and this are the highlights of this set. 👍 You are quickly adapting to GT5's much more powerful photomode system. :D If it's okay with you, can I try editing some of these and post them back here?
