Taborah had 12 hits in 30 at-bats. About how many at-bats would she need to have 100 hits.

Show your work.

SHOW ALL OF YOUR WORK. So we don't have cheaters. 👍

NOTE: If some one else shows the work before ............
does. They are the winner, and they get to choose the next question.

Curveball, is correct.

Curveball you have to show work to be correct.

You got half of the question right. Now for the other half show your work. So we don't have cheaters. 👍

NOTE: If some one else shows the work before Curveball does. They are the winner, and they get to choose the next question.

118.

100-12+30=118.

Theoretically, she/he could get a hit in their next 88 at bats.

12/30=100/250

30 divided by 12 is 2.5. 100 times 2.5 is 250.

 Super Supra are you trying to leech answers off GTP members so you don't have to do your math hwk? ha

Just for the heck of it i'll do the first one... second one.. what's a matrix? hehe..

she hits 12 for every 30, how many at bats does she need to reach 100

12/30 = 40% average.
100/12 = 8.5

100 is 40% of ___
100 / 0.4 = 250

I don't know how to type the little matrix thingies.

[0 8]
[18 -13]

Its been a while since I did this, I'm probably wrong.

Originally, but the idea expanded. My homework is easy, and yes that is a question on my list.:p

damn SS stop making these kids do ur hw for you. and for the first question, theoretically, th girl could hit her next 100 hits in a row and the answer would be 100. its all about probability, but since you dont have a set chance of hitting, you have a gimpy math book.

Yeah, but depending on what grade level of math he's doing...

If she suddenly gets good.. yeah sure.. she can get 100/100...
Oh, and Klos

It doesn't say how many more she needs.. it says how many does she need... so not counting the 12

But your answer is in-correct.

My math book says 250. So it has to be right.

Well, the question is worded in a profoundly stupid way. Unless we are supposed to assume that she is going to hit at the exact same average for the rest of her life.

Klossy, your math is like next level stuff.

Our math is not that complicated.

We have a simple question, and we have a different way of explaining for example.

In the summer, Tina worked part time for a landscaping company. In 3.5 hours, Tina earned $28.70. At this rate:

a) How much would she earn in 9 Hours

MY ANSWERS

a) 28.70 divided by 3.2 = $8.2 per hour
$8.2 x 9 hour = $73.8 in 9 hours

That's our formula.

Since no one is gonna state the answer.. after ss.. ha

(28.7/3.5)*9 = $73.80 / 9 hours

Next Question: What is the quadratic formula?
*forget this question*
Awww... it is? =( crud... ok
