Mazdaspeed 3

I want to know why the Mazdaspeed 3 is not in gran truismo. I contacted Mazda about it and they did not know they told me to ask polyphony. But how can you contact polyphony. Does anybody know why there is no Mazdaspeed 3's?

Look, it's relatively simple. Every car in GT is in there because
PD knew about it and
PD wanted it in the game and
PD had a licence to use that car and
PD had access to that car to model and
The model was completed before the game was released

Every car not in GT is not in there because
PD didn't know about it or
PD didn't want it in the game or
PD didn't get a licence to use that car or
PD didn't have access to that car to model or
The model wasn't completed before the game was released

What the car list in the game represents is every car they could get in the game. The Premium list represents every car they could make Premium. They haven't made a car Premium they didn't need to and they haven't not made Premium a car that they could have. No car is excluded from either the car list or the Premium list for the inclusion of a different one.

Did you expect GT5 to have every single car in the world in the game? The same question can be applied to many other cars...
Why aren't there any Vauxhall VXR's in the game?
Why aren't there any Rover's in the game?
Why aren't there any Jaguar XJ's in the game?
Why aren't there any E30's in the game?
Why aren't there any Audi RS4 B5's in the game?
Need I go on?

Nope... The mazda 3 its called Axela not Atenza, in the game the Atenza is the Mazda 6

Either way, a Mazda 3 hatch is in the game and a Mazdaspeed 3 is not, so if someone really wants a speed three, they can create one.

They look the same... So pick an Axela and tune it as a Mazdaspeed 3.

That is true but is still not going to be the same. It won't have a cockpit view the handling characteristics won't be modeled the same and it won't sound the same or anything. It will look similar and have roughly the same hp but it's not an ms3

Then refer back to my first post.

The car isn't in the game because PD didn't put it in the game for one of the reasons mentioned in that post.
Asking "why" on this forum won't help, and asking PD why won't give you a useful answer either. Sorry.

There are tens of thousands of cars that aren't in the game for one reason or another.

Yes I realize that not every car can not be in there. But that doesn't tell me why ms3 is not in there. I am sure they have heard of it. And it has got to one of the fastest hatchbacks I know of. They have dinkey mx-5's and all these other cars that nobody even wants to drive but no Mazdaspeed 3.

I have an 09 Mazdaspeed3 in real life. I know what the op means by wanting one in the game. It's a nice car, but there are a lot of cars that are in the game that probably shouldn't be. There are a lot of cars that should be, but aren't. It's all relative. The Axela is the European version I believe, but I don't know why it doesn't have a turbo. Luckily you can customize it and add a turbo.

Fair enough, and I would prefer a whole list of cars over the Mazdaspeed 3. It's a cool car, and I hope we get DLC, and if the MS3 was in the DLC that'd be great.

Fact of the matter is, there are a ton of these threads for various cars, and the answer is always the same. PD either didn't want the car, couldn't find the car, didn't have time, or didn't get the rights. Not much else to it, and no one on the forum knows any better. If you call PD and get someone on the phone they'll say some canned response about how they try to get as many cars as possible and all that.

Do your best with the standard 3, add a turbo, slightly better tires, and better suspension and you have something extremely similar. 👍

Alternatively, pick up an xbox a Forza has both generations of the Speed3. Or better yet, look up your local car club, get some tires and go autox your Speed3.

lol yea i know, funny. Also he doesnt want to add a turbo to the current axela in the game because the cockpit wont be the same as the real MS3. Lol its a standard car

He said it wouldn't have a cockpit, and the handling would not be the same. Both of which are true. 💡
And to be fair, at least he asked Mazda. Half the threads on this forum are questions that could be answered by another thread on the same page.

We don't need a thread asking why a specific car is not in GT5. There is a thousand cars in GT5, but there are many more not in GT5. We don't need this forum filled with threads on why x car is not in GT5.

Just either play the game knowing the Mazdaspeed 3/3MPS is not there, or create one using the Axela/3 that is in the game, or don't play the game.
