McLaren Mercedes SLR on TopGear

It has just made the fastest lap on the TopGear test track on the test cars chart with a time of 1'20 beating cars like the Mucielago, Koenigsegg CC and 911 GT3.

Never mind that, the sound of it was awesome even through the TV. That engine note is just, err words can't describe it.

I think McLaren spent too much time on the SLR and not on this years MP.

True but i still say CLK DTM over SLR.

I wouldn't, the DTM looks more racey, but you couldn't travel a long distance in one, it's not going to be half as comfey as the SLR and the SLR has proved it's very, very quick too.

SLR= Supercar.
CLK DTM= Someting similar (classwise) to the 360 modena and gallardo.

Amazing Car, but I personaly like the look of the Porsche Carrera GT better.

Actually the SLK55 was the safety car, not the SLR.

I still believe the Carrera GT next week, will beat it's laptime, with that excellent sounding V10.
