Watched the most recent Fantastic Four this weekend. Pretty good. It was nice that there were no major crossovers or cameos, it was just a old fashioned standalone story.

Still feeling the superhero fatigue though, no hype for even more Spidey or Avengers.
 
I think we're in phase six or seven now. I don't know phases.

Ryan Gosling to join Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ghost Rider

During a surprise announcement at San Diego Comic-Con, the actor says the character is one he has "wanted to play for a very long time".

Getting closer to Mephisto. Also didn't we have a Ghost Rider in AoS (and wasn't Coulson briefly a Ghost Rider too)?
 
I hope he does the Nicholas Cage thing and wear the make up at all times to get into character.

I'm not sure what getting closer to Mephisto means since we already have an MCU Mephisto.

Peter Fonda/Ciaran Hinds? Or has there been something in the additional homework/reading I've stopped doing since ploughing through four episodes of Secret Invasion (I only got to the end through Pitch Meeting) and wishing it was me at the bottom of the ravine on Vormir instead of Nat - only for The Marvels to just about entirely ignore it.


To be honest I'm only in for the next Avengers film to see how they swerve the whole Kang thing. I'm hoping for them to go full BTTF2/Crispin Glover on it and have a quickly killed guy in a rubber Majors mask. And whatever nonsense they're going to spin for Tony Doom.
