Mercedes sauber c9, when shall i overhaul it?

Hi dudes. Just looking at the OCD and saw the Merc c9 (le mans thingy, group C) and the price is 5,2 mill and it has driven 6500 km. Shall i buy it for this price? and when shall i overhaul it?

I normally overhaul at around 8000 miles more or less. I think thats about 13-14,000 km. You will find varying opinions on this but that works for me. Don't forget the all important oil change either:tup:

If you want full engine power, overhaul it right away. After 6.000 km the power starts to fade even with oil changes, if you don't.

The jury is still out though on when you should do chassis overhaul.

If you want to be on the safe side, just shell out the extra 1 million for both engine & chassis and be done with the worries.

I always do Chassis & Engine overhaul right away anytime I buy a used car.

Oil Changes are made redundant through engine restoration.

the only thing i do when i buy a car from the UCD is just the oil change :s ....!

I think all of my LMPs need Engine Changes but I really can't be asked to spend 500,000 Cr. on an engine than 500,000 on a brand spanking new Ferrari with max tunes...
