Death Klok, the name says it all. One part Metalica, throw in some Manson and Rob Zombie with the theatrics of KISS and Alice Cooper, and you've got them. They are the most influential metal band in the world, and their power knows no limits.

Quite frankly, this isn't a comedy like the rest of the Adult Swim lineup. This cartoon definately appeals to another type of viewer, and it is somewhat evident in the jokes that are laced through the show. A good number of them poke fun at the metal culture in general, and atlhough it is indeed good for a laugh, if you're more of a Police and Rush type of guy, you might not get it.

If anything, it is worth watching for the music. I doubt my computer speakers do it any justice, as I am looking forward to hearing it on my stero very soon. Again, it is quite obvious the show was created for metal-heads, and the opening title sequence shows that. Everything is metal, from the colors, the music, to the overall dark tone of the show.

I'd give it a "Watch It!" rating, as I quite enjoyed it, but I'm not completely certain of the staying-power the show could have in the Adult Swim lineup. Granted, the show is done by Brendan Small (creator of Home Movies) and has been in production some time (I first herd of it several months ago on G4's Attack of the Show), but things are going to need to progress a bit more than what the first episode had to offer.
 
I haven't had a chance to watch it, but it looks funny.

I love it. I hope they continue this for a good run. I'll certainly buy it on dvd if it ever goes that far. 👍 👍 👍
 
I like Korgoth more, but this show is pretty cool.
 
Yeah. I LOVE Titmouse Inc.'s work, though. They did a great job. Props also go to Brendon Small. His guitar work is pretty awesome. :lol:

I love how they made Skwisgaar represent finnish metal.

There should be a new episode of the show posted on the Adult Swim Fix on Friday at 11PM in England, 6 PM on the American East Coast, 3 PM on the American West Coast...

Called "Deathwater," from what I understand they are doing something with Tuna or an aquarium, or something. The preview clip didn't show too much other than the fish were singing to the song with a serpant, etc.

(BTW: Brak Show Season 2 on the way!)

Actually, it will be on here around 11pm or so eastern I think. They dont have adult swim here at the times you said.

I saw that promo. It sounded rather funny. They were promoting a song of theirs called "murmaid murder" because fish dont have a lot of metal to listen to. "Its for the fish..."
 
The website says the video is just for north americans so I got it on torrent. Couldn't watch it yet.
 
I freaking love this show!!! Why did not this show come out years ago?? The idea is so simple, yet so hilarious.
 
They car charge whatever they want per dvd I'm still buying 10 cause its so good. I just watched it again... man!

I want to know whos doing the music for the show. Is it guest spots? Small's own band? Eh?

They need a making-of episode (ala TGTTM and SGC2C) bad, as Death Klok needs to drop a record, NOW!
 
I finally caught this show last night, It is effing Awesome. I love the music on it, the characters are great, and Overall its extremely funny. Made me laugh pretty hard 👍.
