I tried adjusting the colour balance, and it came of very weird... :odd: The paint didn't look real, so I really didnt know what went wrong there. Any ideas?

People say that it is a good idea to convert the car to greyscale attach your parts because it's easy then change the colour.

I usually jump in and change it straight away. - Converting to grey then to colour may cause some odd results. I would go into levels & contrast and brightness and play around. If all else fail go crazy with curves.

Hmm .. Thanks for that :D

BTW - Kind of a n00b question here, how do you get it in greyscale? Can you open the file in grayscale mode or is it somekind of filters....? :odd:

Hey! I just started PS a month back!!! :D

EDIT : :O I guess there was a reason they included the Help files. :D

You can convert the whole image to greyscale but that is rather pointless if you are asking me.

Instead of going Hue/Saturation look down the bottom for a Desaturate - CTRL + SHFT + U (I Think)

Then add the parts - it's easier because the image is black and white no tones of blue & red etc.

Have fun!
