Wow! This is one heck of a transformation! Very nice hand work. Other than that nothing much to say.

God that's ugly. I fail to understand why someone would put that much money into getting it done when they could have modified the MX5 performance-wise, with better results...

Looks like a little tugboat. Toot Toot!

I just showed it to Charlotte and asked if she knew what it was, to see if she'd say an Aston Martin. She said it's "some crap looking kit car", if that's what she thinks then I really can't see anyone spending money to turn a decent looking MX5 into that shower of dung.

Its kinda like the NSX that was transformed into a F50. BTW Charlotte your wife?

Yes, but at least the NSX-F50 conversion kept to realism, and looked similar. I don't think there's a single Aston Martin out there that looks anything like this.

In terms of shape I think it looks more like some of the older Marcos cars than any Aston Martin, the details don't, but the shape does.

Wow, no one would even fall for that. A disgrace to MX-5's and Aston martins...

I've never seen that NSX before but I've just ggogled this one http://www.6park.com/enter7/messages/gvk21098.html, I presume thats the one your on about, that's some project that guy took on. And theres no wedding rings on my fingers. Yet.

That NSX-F50 looking fantastic. Now THAT'S what a conversion should look like. As for the Miata Martin, it looks like ****...the owner and or the person responsible for this monstrosity should have a lobatomy.

Reminds me more of a Z8 than an Aston, cept the grille.

...And to top it all off you can do it for $15K on top of the purchase price of the car...

If I had a Miata and an extra $5k US laying around, I'd definitely spend it on building an autocross/track day weapon, not some bulbous waste of fiberglass.

I'm gonna be the first to say I like it. It is very cool. Only thing is, I don't believe that guy was trying to make a copy of Aston, rather Aston themed Miata, or Aston's version of Miata. Quick! Aston Martin, call Mazda!

That wouldn't be a problem, since Aston Martin is fully owned by Ford and Mazda's majority stakeholder is Ford.

That's right. I forgot about that. Since Ford doesn't have their version of Miata, maybe Mazda won't let anybody have it? It would be really cool to see one another version of Miata, at least to me.

Well I think that that looks disgusting!!
It is well done, and pretty realistic, but hey, it isn't a real Aston, just a rip off IMO 👎 .

Looks like a bugeye sprite, with those headlights popping out like that... the rest of it, maybe some Marcosish thing...

Wow, this thing looks exactly like a Jenson SV8. And that NSX-F50 conversion would fool me. It looks good, and if they designed the rear end correctly it might even handle better.

This wouldn't fool a child. In fact, a child would feel insulted, and give it to the dog, who would still work out what it is in under 5 minutes.

I'd have done the same widebody treatment they did on the rear fenders to the front ones as well. And then I'd have left the rest of the body the hell alone, and put the rest of the money into a supercharger kit, seamwelding, a decent rollbar, and good coilovers.
