It's Codemasters, though, so I'm out. They're not the same company that was responsible for the Mega Drive original, though I might be interested if they announce an actual top-down view option... Otherwise I'm still happy to dig the Mega Drive out whenever I feel the urge.

Provided link says there will be an optional top-view. Personally, I liked the bird's eye view a lot more, because I could see more of the stage and plan for moves a lot sooner. Plus, it meant the game is less demanding on track memorization.
