Microsoft in bed with Linux ?...

They are trying to make it easier for a Linux shop to begin using a few Windows machines, thats all it is seems to me.

I bet they looked at how Windows/Mac interoperability had improved, and decided to distance themselves from the Mac by moving closer to Linux.

Yearh well.. As good as it may sound, I fear much more sinister ideas are kept behind closed doors... :-| Search google for "microsoft" "linux" and "novell" and some fairly interesting things can be found... Eg. Dana Gardners is a pretty scary one...
 
I just rang out a huge sigh. But, I guess if this makes it easier for users to play games on Linux-based systems, I'm definitely for it. I'd love to have a more stable/reliable system that can play games while using less background resources. :)
 
I find this deal interesting, especially since Microsoft's CEO once said that "Linux is a cancer."

I don't know what to think at the moment, because this could turn out being good or bad. I know Microsoft is not out to help a competitor, but this might help advance Linux. We'll just have to wait.
