I'm trying to fix up my paper, but when do the revisions, the next word gets erased. For example i want to correct it to " There are types...", it ends up like this " thereypes..." instead of " There are types...". Thanks in advanced

Press the Insert button on your keyboard and see if it goes away.

I'll get stuff like that, only when the computer will be on for a while, not sure what to do about it, most of the time I just retype whatever I'm typing.

*EDIT* @Rev, that might work, I'll try it out next time I use word.

That's not just a Word function, it's almost any Windows app. The INSERT key switches the cursor between insert and typeover modes. If you need to have the modes explained, then you don't need to be using a computer.
