Yeah very fast uptake this season and I'm looking forward to driving with some new talent.

Also hoping people won't be quitting mid race, an hour is a long race and anything can happen, quitting doesn't make sense to me but I suppose it's not in my nature anyway!

I know driver skill is important but I think that it really comes down to having a good setup on these cars , they are very very close in stock form but when you put some tuning work on these cars it totally changes it

The top drivers last season are not only very skilled they also have some good tuning knowledge

Good for you, allascato proved it can compete but I think a championship podium is a tall order, I think allascato is gonna be tough to beat in a GT-R but I guess we'll see soon enough. I was tempted by the Supra myself but didn't have a chance to test drive it, would've definitely taken the TOM's but it was snatched up before I got there, I find the NSX a challenging but enjoyable drive so it was hard to turn down the last one left

ABS is allowed, its TCS that has gone, I would like to remove ABS as well but concerned about it being too much for beginners

I had a brain fart and mixed up the two. I had TCS on the brain and wasn't paying attention.

Almost true, I'm hopeless with setups, I enlisted some help from friends though 2nd half of the season

It is very touchy to say the least, driving with ABS is completely different and without the feedback in the pedal you get IRL very tricky, I raced with it off in another league using high performance race cars, it was intense!!

What is the feedback in the pedal like IRL?I can't seem to find much info on that.
All I know is when the tires screech or steering gets light I gotta get out of it!
That said I find it fun,never ever thought I would say that about braking a year ago.

BTW, I don't see the ARTA NSX or the Xanavi Nismo Z as a step down for the runner ups.

Allascato is a great driver and will be formidable in the GT-R but I would also be looking at Gp and Soopa as the ones to beat down the stretch. The 06' NSXs are all similar so the transition form the Takata to the ARTA will be no sweat for Soopa, and the Nismo Z behaves and performs similarly to the GT-R, IMO. A little more loose in the rear but no more than the NSX.

Who knows, maybe one of the new guys is a GT5 beast.

Am glad I got the Castrol TOM's 97 as that was my second choice car.

I drove it a while back and it seems easier to control than the GT-R so with TCS off, hopefully I can keep it on track!!

I have some reservations about Kaz and crew with DLC so I think not everyone will go out and buy that track. If it is added to this series I'll take the hit in points.

Thats a good point, whats the betting they're all worth over 1 Million CR

The full pack is only £7.50, I am a bit disappointed there are no older tracks included, the cars aren't exactly great either but for such a small price I might as well get it.

It seems the majority will buy it in our group and thus they out vote me, so if it is included I will miss that race as well and be fine with it.
