Another "what if?", this time if Valvoline had continued to sponsor a Ford in the BTCC and that previously mentioned rallycross spin-off series went ahead. This concept, like the Rapid Fit one above, originally came from a Daniel Crossman post where he was revisiting the classic Valvoline Mondeo from the 90's, but I've reimagined it as a rallycross car using the Ford Focus Gr.B.

Completing the triple-threat of retro-revisited "BTCC Rallycross" concepts is a reimagination of the iconic but ill-fated 1988 Ford Sierra RS500 of Steve Soper. Using the same ideas as my previous two Focus rallycross liveries, and a combination of the sponsors of the day and modern BTCC sponsors with a unique half/half split livery, this is the Texaco Ford Focus Rallycross.

The Speedhunters RE Amemiya RX-7.

Fresh from the GTP LEC #74 (Monochrome), this is a mash-up of monochrome asymmetry and RE Amemiya-appropriate sponsors, with the idea being this is a promotional car for Speedhunters who've teamed up with RE Amemiya to produce a purpose-built street weapon.

The Peugeot Onyx Racing RCZ Gr.4.

The baby in the fleet of Peugeot Onyx Racing, this RCZ is ready to take on the giants of Gr.4 in style and opulence. It carries all the same sponsors as the rest of the team - just on a more dialed-down platform - and is set up to be sport mode safe.

The team currently consists of this RCZ Gr.4, the RCZ Gr.3 and the VGT Gr.3. Rumour on the street is there's a Gr.1 and Gr.3 Road Car under development at Peugeot Onyx Racing HQ...

Based on the BMW Bank M6 GT3 livery I did a while back, this is the BMW Bank VGT. I used all the same colours, sponsors and layouts as the original design, but focused less on the Sport Mode compatibility (it's Gr.X anyway!) so the layout was able to work better on the body shape.

For an endurance race at Laguna Seca with the Z4E group, we decided to run a group of five teams consisting of one each of the three BMW Gr.3's. Along with another player, I was tasked with creating some of the liveries - we opted for a beer sponsor theme, and to keep things interesting we decided to choose different regions around the world with each beer. I went for Corona, Heineken and Sapporo. The two other teams are Budweiser and Guinness - so collectively we've covered USA, Mexico, Ireland, The Netherlands and Japan.

The livery was inspired by the branding layout on a box of Corona beer and was built on a gold chrome base with negative decals to bring out the corona logo details and slogan, and the race number. These cars are running Dunlop tyres over BBS wheels and H&R suspension with Castrol Edge oils. A bunch of localised sponsors (Telcel, Banamex, Televisa) complete the livery theme.

The core colours and star symbol provided the bones of this livery concept, and I opted to use gloss decals over a metallic green base paint using the Heineken star as the key livery feature to double as the race number board. A few Dutch sponsors (Philips, Rabobank, Ziggo Sport) add to the Dutch feel of the livery. This team runs Michellin tyres and BBS wheels, with Shell (another Dutch brand) providing oils and fuel.

Inspired by the tall silver can synonymous with this Japanese brand, the team livery consists of a clean and simple layout of semi-gloss decals over a silver matte metallic base layer. The team are sponsored by local brands (Arai, Bride, Sapporo-Higashi BMW, NGK) and run Yokohama tyres over Advan wheels.

Bimmer Tuning run an M3 in GT4 format around the Nurburgring, mainly as a promotional car, and in my opinion it looks pretty badass. Transferring that livery onto the BMW VGT makes it look even more aggressive. So here it is: the Bimmer Tuning BMW VGT!

This was a true test of my patience, with each of the Bimmer Tuning decals placed individually and mapped over the bonnet and body to match up perfectly. I used 287/300 decals on the body alone! Loving the end result though...

I may scrap the whole livery and create something else, as I think it looks a bit iffy.

Spoon Sports S660, made for the recent Honda S660 Time Trial at Suzuka Circuit.

A semi-replica of a Honda Brio Spoon Sports concept found online, using the iconic Spoon Sports split colour livery but simplified in style (no jaggedy bits) which perfectly suits the shape of the S660 in my eyes.

Leyton House Hyundai N VGT Gr.1.

Based on the classic Leyton House F1 liveries of the 90's, but with a modernised Hyundai twist. The base paint colour is the Hyundai N blue, which really pops against BP green, and works well with the recent/current logos to modernise the whole aesthetic.

Pure Filth RenaultSport Megane Trophy

Inspired by a decal posted by @O604 relating to the appalling standards of driving in the Daily races, and built for a mixed-class endurance race around Laguna Seca (for which I made two personalised versions for the two drivers, a yellow and an orange one).

Semi-gloss decals over a gloss base layer for textural contrast, adorned with Pure Filth decals and given a GTWS-type treatment with the race numbers. Sadly, not Sport Mode compatible...

Audi e-tron VGT SBD

Entered into the Livery Editor Competition #75 (EVs), this is the Sean Bull-inspired Audi e-tron VGT. Using a colorshift base layer and semi-gloss negative decals to give the impression of color-shifting text and logos. It also features a camo pattern built from a decal uploaded by our very own @krisduv (e-tron camo) to break the otherwise flat-looking black bodywork.

I recently came across a digital artist on Instagram who goes by the name A R Visual (@ar.visual_). He creates absolutely mad concepts, and I fell in love with a Corvette C8 hill climb car concept he created, liveried up with AEM and K&N colours. So I decided to transfer that design onto the Gr.3 Corvette and I think the end result is fairly epic. This is the AEM/K&N Corvette Gr.3.

An "almost" replica of the GT Classics Porsche 911 GT2. Seeing as we don't have the GT2 in the game, I decided to follow the majority of the original but diverged from the original with the race number decals and the driver name on the roof is just the built-in gamertag.

Unfortunately, PD decided to ignore the fact the majority of the 993 race cars placed their race number in the middle of the door panel, so the livery isn't really sport mode friendly, but it's fine for lobbies and custom races, etc.

Maserati MC21 Formula 1 Concept

A modern/retro livery inspired by classic Maserati colours and the MC12 base livery, translated onto the SF (Toyota) body shell, for the LEC #76 - New F1. Principle sponsors are Prada and Lavazza, with Shell oils and Pirelli tyres, plus a bunch of others like Momo, TAG Heuer and Arlen. Italian flag colours on the front wing leading edge and rear wing end plate tips give a further bit of patriotism to the livery. Can be used in Sport mode.

Jagermeister BMW i3.

Following on from the Jagermeister F1 livery I did recently, I decided to adorn the i3 in the classic livery. It's sport mode compatible, for what it's worth! As always, decals are modernised for all the sponsors, to suit the age of the car.

Note: this looks best on the red version of the car - all the others have blue trims which clash with the colour scheme.
