are these rules in addition to the race 1 rules for p/w etc? or are they completely out the window

& what's the verdict on drivetrains?

yes they are. The verdict on drivetrain is that upon approval, you can use it :D

cool.
so.. not meaning to be picky, but in the 1st post it says "chassis swaps..". if that means drivetrain i reckon its a bit misleading :)

edit: thx for including the track btw:D :D

Ok, just so i get this straight, we have to make 2 cars? or is just just choose 1 and make it. Either way this is gonna be a bit of a problem for me, since my sharkport is about 1400 miles away and i have not the ability to make hybrids this week. I might be able to use the hybrid i race in the first race in the 500kg/500hp class, but it probably wont do so well. We'll have to see, the deadline isnt until the 29 and i get home on the 26th, so that might leave me a couple days to try and throw somthin together for this

Hmm, now that i think about it, it'd probably be better to use my hybrid in the 750kg/1000hp class cuz i think it weighs 940kg or somthing and is MORE than capable of achieving 1000hp w/ a larger turbo upgrade :D

Oh yeah, and do we still have to use same manufacturer parts?

Ok, to clear everything up here, You can do chasis swaps and drivetrain swaps upon approval. I should have worded that better. I meant to say drivetrain swaps D'oh, gonna fix that. I would be glad to see everyone make two cars, but I understand if you only make 1.

Yeah that is what I was thinking. Becuase only 5 or 6 of us will be racing, with two serparate leagues, I think we would have more results and closer competition. I may be wrong, but I figured it would be fun to run two cars :D

Hey, I resemble that remark.=======> Mojo:odd:

Okay... I've made 5 cars and a sixth is in the works currently...

H500 class:
Renaultsport Clio V6 Group B - detuned to 500hp
TVR Speed 8 - Speed 12 with enhanced Griffith 5.0 V8.
Exige 500 - still being built

H1000 class:
Nissan Blitz R348 Skyline - still
Toyota Celica Supra - Celica GT-Four with a Supra engine, amongst other things.
au Supra Road Version - based on a 2003 au Cerumo JGTC Supra, it's a Supra RZ with a 3.5 V8 (as the 2003 JGTC Supras) from the TS020.

Best T2 (in the Blitz) so far is a 52.4. The Supra is quicker more easily, but the Blitz has the edge by just over 0.1s so far...

Im not so sure I will be able to get in a good time this week. I've spent up until now trying to get the cars correct and I still am (I keep getting more than enough power or to little wieght). Maybe next week :)...

any objections to a 4WD porsche?
don't worry.. its obese :(

Famine i think our entries this week may be slightly similar in places ... variations on a theme ;)

[edit] forget abou the porsche.. it sucked[/edit]

Sup All,

I don't see any T2 times yet.:(

Well, here goes mine then. I don't think I can compete with some of the other cars though. My R34 (Mojo-spec II) is too heavy. But it does have 1000 Hp.:D My time @ T2 is 50.7 so far. I know I can do better, though.

Let's see some T2's people. The dedline is just a couple of days away.

I don't even have a 500 Kg class car, so what am I rushing you guys for? Anyway, let's see some times.

Me again,

Just thought some of you GT-R lovers out there would like to see this pic I found of a Tommy Kaira R34 It's sweet.

Yowser!

BTW how did you get your Skyline to have 1000hp? The 2.000 PWR rule still stands, so you'd be needing a 2000kg chassis - and there isn't one.

I posted my T2 yesterday. 52.4 in the Blitz.

i dont have any t2's yet cuz i dont have any hybriding abilities due to my sharkport currently being in a different state :) I fly back tonight tho, but i think i work the rest of the week...so we'll see what happens...i may or not have a time this week

Oh No!!!

The 2.00 rule applies?!?! Are you sure? The way It looks to me, is that rule went out the window. Cuz I can't even think of a car right now that weighs 2000 Kg.

This is how the rules are stated:

#2 Car 1 has no less then 500kg and no more then 500hp
#3 Car 2 has no less then 750kg and no more then 1000hp

So I figured that the 2.00 rule was out the window.

Damn it. Miata Help. What's the deal? Did I Misunderstand? I think I'm in trouble.:irked:

so did i.. but now that i think about it:

car 1 must weigh between 500kg-1000kg
car 2 must weigh 750 - 2000kg.
& both must have half that many horses.
simple really.
damn :banghead:

well... using a completely illegal car 2 (p/w ~1.1) i was at 46.7!!

back to the drawingboard :( :( ...

The previous power weight rules do not apply
It is now going on a weight scale by minimum amount of weight allowed

woohoo!!
consider my T2 time legal :D

yet to make a 500hp car though

Miata asked if I think extending the dedline would be a good Idea.

My answer is YES, Please. I think that quit a few ppl need some extra time to dial in there rides. I just got mine Tech Inspected, so I know I don't have too much longer to bring my times up.(Well, down I mean) I still need to tune it some more. but mostly It's getting to Know the track better with it.

I know my GT-R R34 (Mojo-spec II) isn't going to be the fastest, but I still love racing it and seeing how it fares against all your rad rides.

So, is it going to be GT-PHARRT, or what?

I know id like an extension this week...i just got back from vacation last night and i work the rest of the week so i havent had, nor will i have much time to even make one car, let alone two

My bad then - I thought these rules were in addition to the first set of rules posted...

Time for a bit of supertuned fun... :D

Ok then, that settles it I am going to extend the deadline One week here, it will be editted above :D I needed an extension too because I have not had anytime to play. :D

Hopefully this time around, Norris Designs can make a come back :D
