Doesnt seem to be much activity here this week...i hope no ones backin outta this. I know im not...ive just been workin a hell of a lot this week and last week i was outta town. but im finally off for the next couple days and definently plan to work on this. I worked on my cars tonight. So far for my 500kg class car ive got a best clean t2 of 49.6 :trouble: more to come of that for sure. Its only sitting at 485hp too :D For my 750kg class car, ive got a best clean t2 of 48.5, but i have been down in the 47's, even saw a low 47 once, and it only has 900 some hp, so if i can tweak it closer to 1000hp, i should see some definite low 47's, perhaps even some high 46's. So thats my progress so far. im gonna see if can get my 750 class car nailed down tonight and i'll focus more on the racing tomorrow.

::EDIT:: New best save in my 750kg/1000hp class car - 46.8 :D still with only 909hp too, thats about as close to 1000 as im gonna get w/ it, but it seems to working pretty well

sounds familiar.. ill be getting into it in the next couple of days.. i never did get that car to scrutineering yet either :boggled:

Why don't you just tweak up the hp multiplier a bit closer to 1000hp? Hang on, scratch that.. i think 909 is just fine ;)

I pm'ed miata about the HP multiplier thing...i didnt think you were allowed to mess w/ it. maybe i was wrong, i dont know. but yeah, 909 seems to be working quite fine. haha. I did try some different combinations w/ na tune and turbo together, and managed to get 990hp, but unfortunately i found the larger the NA tune, the more turbo lag you get, and it slowed me down quite significantly, so unless the HP multiplier is fair game, thats where its gonna sit. As for my 500kg/500hp car i did manage to get it to 499hp :D But i havent tried any laps w/ it yet. still trying to get the other car under control

::EDIT:: Just managed a clean 49.1 in my 500 class car :D

I didn't - been too busy with other stuff to hybrid this week.

But I'll be back for round 3. I enjoy a good PHARRT.

I am doing work around the house today so that is why I am slow to post the finals.

I would compete in this race, but the deadline's already up! Oh well, I guess I will have to unleash my Greased Lightning at the next show...
 
ok, I have been working on that. Apparently with only two entries for race #2 there has been a decline. I am going to post up a couple of thoughts and see what everone thinks.

I think it should be at SSR5 Wet, then we can call it "Wet PHARRT"...

I am slow in making a round three for two reasons
#1 The Board to Board comp
#2 The results in how many there are invovled currently.

This was a fun race.. the Zonda was only a downforce hybrid, but man it made a difference! Wish i could have used the damn racecar brakes though :irked: :)

Ill whack a couple of replays in this thread sometime, if anyone's interested.

Might i suggest a couple of other things re rd3?
- rules that allow a bunch of choices. the class thing is cool but this weeks gt500 class was always going to be a MSE race
- speaking of one-make races, how bout a CRX Del Sol LM race :D
- obviously there's heaps of OLR on so a longer deadline could be good... if so, the race needs to be something we can discuss, to maintain interest.
