Missing Mini Map?

So my mini map on the HUD has disappeared, and I can't find any options to get it back. Anybody know what to do?

Tried restarting the game? I did some B-Spec races and turned off the displays then all of a sudden when going back to A-Spec my mini map has disappeared, even in arcade. I'm about to go to bed so I can't tell if restarting the game will fix it but update us when you try that.\

EDIT: Tried the pause menu as well? ...or the Options menu when not racing?

I've tried restarting it, that didn't help. It only happened after I tried out split screen with my brother. We had the maps during that, but when I quit and went to GT mode it was gone.

this also happened to me as well. I finished playing splitscreen, and going back to A-Spec GT Life, the mini-map went missing, even changing the settings while racing. Does anyone know of a fix?

I thought that 1.02 fixed it, at least it did for me. Either way, I hope they fix it for the rest of the crowd.

Same with me. So I started searching for how it happened to see if I could find a way to turn everything else off with it.

same thing just happened to me, tried split screen with my friend, now the map is missing and all the setting were turned off

Same here after half a day of gameplay, restarting the PS3 did solve the problem.
