I CANNOT for the life of me beat mission 22. I've beaten all the other drafting missions exept for this one. I get about 1 second behind the lead car and then we cross the finish line.

This is also my first post here :)

/me turns on ps2 to check which one it is.

Welcome to GTPlanet!... which one is Mission 22 again? The drafting missions are all slightly/subtley different, but the best advice I can suggest is to use manual gears (if you are not using manual already that is...) Also, use the 'in-car' view, as this allows you to hear the wind noise, which disappears when you are in the draft of the car infront...

If I'm not mistaken, mission 22 is the one with the Honda Oddyseys (if written correct..).

Use manual gears and drive the view where you see the hood of the car, as already stated. With the oddysey, if I'm not mistaken, you should NEVER shift to fifth gear. Always stay in fourth.

It should be easy as nothing.

Hope you succeed 👍

I actually always race with the camera view just behind the car, and I heard the wind noise there too. But those missions are best in "in-car" view, because it's easier to see how much space there is between you and the car in front of you.:) This prevents bumping other cars.:p

The one with the Skylines is getting me too... I just can't get it.

I tried staying with the trailing pack, staying ahead on the turns, and having them slipstream me on the straights, then I slipstream past them right before the turn. Using this sort of "leapfrogging" technique I couldn't get under 2 seconds from the leading Skyline. I also tried abandoning the chase pack right on the first turn and hunt the leader by driving a smarter line, but couldn't get under 1.5 seconds from him at the line.

Thanks, I got it finally this morning. It was the one with the Honda Odysseys. For some reason after reading tips for the Skyline one I had no problems. Now I've got my Zonda LM Race Car :)
