Mission 9 is a tricky one because you are in a quick sleek car and you have to corner perfectly. There is one easy way which my mate had shown me some months back, all you have to do is keep youre foot down on youre pedal until the corner and hit the honda directly on the side and he may slide off the track.

Otherwise stay on the outside lane until the last moment and try to keep accelerating in the process of braking, then should get you somewhere. I managed to get around 16 seconds.

I found this one quite easy. The car seems to be able to brake quickly and therefore you can brake later than the other car. Just make sure your on the inside of the corner.

I agree with that. I just stood on the brakes at the last second and dove for the inside and made it through with no problems.

Is it me, though, or did that other NSX sound like a screaming banshee...?

i won this one by accident..

i was cruising on the outside left part of the straight..
then by accident my left rear tire went outside the track causing my car to slide sideways and pointing my nose to the inside of the corner.. w/ a quick counter steer i slid through by surprise.. then i won..💡

Yup, i did the same as george and even tough i had a penalty, i came in 7 seconds earlier. very, very easy.

I found this one to be fairly easy. I braked after the other NSX and took the inside of the turn and accelerated all the way through to the finish.

For those having trouble passing this one cleanly, I passed this by slowing way down and staying way behind the other car before the corner. After he takes the corner I took it much faster and passed him before the finish line. It might take a few tries to get far enough behind to avoid hitting him on your exit, but man is he slow at it!

I'm sorry to dredge up this thread from so long ago, but... according to GTRP, I have the fastest ever run on this mission, and I did it cleanly, too. What's weird is that even holl01 is .05 slower, so I have to suspect that this car handles or accelerates better in the NTSC version. Otherwise, it must have been a total fluke run that depended on the other NSX yielding to allow me to take as tight a line as I did.
